If you want to get started in laser engraving/cutting, it’s hard to beat this bundle.
If you’re looking to get started with a laser engraver/cutter, but are not sure where to start, this bundle is a no brainer.Pros:Price point. Lots of choices out there. Most of them more costly than this bundle. If you don’t have any experience and just want to look and see what this type of crafting is like, this one won’t break the bank.Pre-assembled. This bundle comes 99% assembled. This is a simple set up, but they made it even simpler.Complete package. Everything you need to get up and running right away. Equipment, cords, safety this bundle has you covered. Free software versions also included. Nothing else you need to order along with this bundle to get started.Ease of use. If you already have access to, or know how to get the correct file types, all you need to do is insert your TF card, turn on, align your project piece and push a single button. Obviously the software is where you will get bogged down, but using this machine won’t be the problem.Quick contact. Creality is already trusted in the 3D printing space The quick contact on making sure I received everything in working order after I received the package affirms that the company wants you to be happy. I received an e-mail the day after the package arrived telling me how to contact them if I had any issues with my purchase. You don’t see that often. It was a good sign that they will support if you have problems.Cons:Instructions. Nothing really to assemble, which is good because the included instructions are pretty terrible. Missing words, mis-spellings, words that don’t match what it is referring to. The booklet that comes with the bundle is going to be less than helpful. Thankfully there are all kinds of unboxing/setting up videos on YouTube.Upgrade. Most likely, if you really get into engraving/cutting like this, you will look to upgrade/improve your equipment. This is probably not the machine that will take you down that road very far. But, it is a perfect start for that journey. Because of the price and what it includes you can easily get started and get a better idea of what you want your next set up to be, or the next features that you can’t live without. Again, without having invested too much at the start.I decided on this bundle because there were too many choices, options and features that I just wasn’t sure about. For the money, getting started this way seemed to make the most sense to me.

Easy to use, easy to assemble.
This was an easy Laser to set up. There are great videos on YouTube that show step by step directions and instructions are also included. First impression, looks like it engraves wood, terracotta, and plastic better than my Ortur 20W. I added the air assist and Honeycomb Laser Bed. I used my copy of Lightburn and the driver comes with this Creality Laser. I have been using this for about two weeks, and I use a baby monitor to keep an eye on it. AAA+++

SOFTWARE NOT INCLUDED. The company website doesn’t even list it as a pro product.
First off, I hate to give bad reviews. SOFTWARE NOT INCLUDED. But I have done everything I could think of to get this to work. There is no way (that I could find) of downloading the proper files. I took it to 3 friends and my daughter to see if maybe they could figure it out. But they had no luck either, they were all as confused as I am. It’s not like I am computer illiterate. This is just lacking the proper information. When I went onto their site, it didn’t even list the laser engraver machine that I bought. So there was no way of downloading anything specific for this product. I even went into YouTube videos trying to find something to help me with downloading a program to run this machine. Through all of my efforts I ended up missing the return date. So it just sits here as a very expensive paperweight.

Great purchase..
Package arrived on time and very well packaged. Was very easy to assemble with one caveat, there isn’t a good diagram of or explanation of the belt routing/tensioning. One improvement that I would suggest is add a port for a rotary chuck/roller that uses the Y-axis for engraving circular objects. It was easy to setup with Lightburn and works well with it. Probably should have bought a more powerful laser model but so far it works well and is very accurate and quiet.

What a great machine..!
So far I have only tried engraving in wood, aluminum (polished, didn’t leave any markings), and painted metal. I had zero experience in engraving before, so using the included software is a challenge for me and this whole process is just trial and error. I’m referring to lightburn specifically. I made my designs in autocad, transferred it to lightburn and only saved my trial gcode in the included memory card. I have yet to try and connect this machine directly to a computer.As advertised, one click in the only button of the machine lets you “preview” the work area so you can position the engraving material, the second click starts the real engraving.. BUT at my first, second and third attempts, the laser machine started working way off the preview area. At the fourth attempt I managed to get the thing working in the preview area as intended. I decided to study more of the software configurations before I use it properly.Overall, I think it’s a good value if you are thinking to engrave things yourself, it’s very simple to use (if you know how or had any previous experience with the software) and really fun to see it working.I am giving full 5 stars even if the printed manual has very little drawings and it feels like you need a magnifier glass (and a lot of common sense) to see all the details, as well as the English “instructions“… some steps might need a more detailed explanation.. But on the other hand it is really nice they have included a printed version this manual. So it’s more like 4.8 stars. The package included everything you need for the assembly process.

Good for the price, helpful customer service
The engraver is easy to set up and use and comes with LightBurn software (only a trial program but works so well I went ahead and purchased it). I do recommend getting the enclosure, especially if you are using it in your home. It is big enough to do large or multiple engravings at one time and does really well at fine work and etching.I did have an issue with a wire getting damaged, and the tech support was extremely helpful and sent me a new wiring harness within a week.
