Works like a charm
Serves its purpose. I only with the base that collects the yarn was a bit wider so I could get bigger yarn cakes. Make sure to use tension as you are winding to get a nice firm cake of yarn. Allen don’t forget to push the yarn guide out before winding.

There is a bit of a learning curve as you have to apply tension on the yarn while using it. This is good for someone who only needs to roll small bits of yarn but it does not fit a big skein of yarn.

This easy to set up and use yarn winder was a great little tool for your craft collection. I’ve had wool winders (yarn cake makers) in the past and still have one in Florida. So one in each state? Why not? This yarn winder is affordable enough to buy one to have for your travel bag and it’s just a great quality machine! I’ve been using knitting machines and crocheting and knitting for years! I’ve used many winders! Use this for organization in your craft room. Make cakes out of the partial skeins and stack them up. This clamps on to a table or counter. Even my lap table! Great buy crafters! Buy 1-2 or 3.
