Easy to learn super smooth engraver
Waited long enough to make sure i got a truthful review on this engraver. It was pretty easy to set everything up and install the machine. I had a bit of challenge getting the program to work with the laser but after doing a bit of investigationand watching videos on it, it finally worked!After finally being able to set it up and get the hang of it I quickly learned how to change fonts where to place the wood so I could get and accurate laser burn it was easy peasy and it became addictive so I kept doing more trials which I forgot to snap pics because i was too excited. So for the review on the actual machine heres what I got to say:Its addictive making cool stuff seeing how awesome, smooth and quick it can cut and laser through the wood. Its a pretty big engraver size which will allow me to create bigger projects even more stress free. The functionality was amazing it ran through very smoothly a plus for me was that emergency switch that was a huge plus for me although its very accurate once I got the hang of it I didnt needed the emergency button. This machine does the work for the price this is a huge investment cannot wait to create more things with this awesome machine!

Perfect beginner engraver.
I was always on the edge about getting an engraver, however I’m so glad I made that jump. Setting it took a little bit of time, but the instruction and the video instructions made it super simple to set up. The size of it is 400×400 which is a perfect size. Not small whatsoever. After setting it up with my computer I was able to set it up in only a few minutes and before I knew it I was engraving. Over all super easy to use and very accurate.

I understand this is a very inexpensive laser engraving machine but the quality of the finished product is subpar. Lines are not crisp and lettering looks to be hand written. Would not recommend

Excellent Engraver for Beginners and Hobbyists!
I recently purchased the LONGER Ray5 5000MW laser engraver, and I’m really impressed with how well it performs. The setup was straightforward, and the touchscreen makes it super easy to navigate without needing to connect to a computer all the time. It’s also a great option for anyone new to laser engraving since it’s user-friendly and affordable. Overall, this machine has exceeded my expectations in both performance and value.

Great little laser. Powerful for a 5 watt laser. Great for small crafts. I used lightburn software just fine on this laser. Simple to setup.

What a COOL machine!
Truly amazing price for this product. Seems to be quality materials. I will grant that it took me a couple of hours to build, but pretty sure that is because I have 0 prior experience with anything in this field. It was easy to understand the steps and to build. Easy to use. Functions well. Fairly compact size. Very anccurate. Comes with “light burn software” which has a free trial, and although this is great software, you can manage also with freeware such as Inkscape as far as I can tell (did not yet try Myself). Bottom line, I love it!

Top notch laser and easy to use
This 5W laser engraver is absolutely fantastic – great value and super easy to set up. I’ve been using it for a few months now, mostly for wood signs and coasters, and it’s been flawless. The free LaserGRBL software is straightforward and doesn’t take long to get the hang of. For the price, the performance and precision are impressive. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable machine for light crafts and DIY projects!
