Versatile set
This was nice as a starter set and I’ve been able to make almost everything I wanted with it. Luckily, it’s also compatible with other products from the same brand as well as some other brands, so there are a lot of options that can mix and match with this. I’ve since gotten some smaller needles and some cords with swivel ends.I would rather have more connectors and fewer end caps, as I can use a silicone tip protector or just rubber bands in a pinch, but can’t substitute anything for the tiny connector which I will certainly misplace at times!

Well worth the money
These needles are awesome! I had some cheap bamboo knitting needles and I was constantly struggling with my yarn and my stitches so I decided to upgrade and I am so glad I did. The yarn glides beautifully over the needles but also stays in place when I need it to. The interchangeable cords are very easy to switch out when using the tool that comes with the pack. Overall, I found it to be well worth the extra money I spent to get this set.

This is my first set of interchangeable needles where I didn’t buy the lowest end, and they are very nice to knit with. I have had some issues with the needles coming unscrewed from the cables, but I’m also quite sure I’m twisting while I knit. The tapering on the ends is good and has worked well for the daisy stitch (perling into the same 3 stitches twice) without any difficulty or splitting my stitches.I love being able to easily pull through a life line. It’s like a miracle!My only concern is that one of the cables is snagged on the coating, not sure that’s even the fault of the product, it could have easily been my cat (a terrorist of all my knitting projects). So far the snag has not been problematic. Just wanted to mention it in case it turns out not to be cat related.

So handy!
I love these beautiful needles! I love being able to start any project without having to buy new needles. I like the fact that the different sizes have different colors too – it makes it easy to just grab them and go. I *have* had some issues with them unscrewing in the middle of a project, but they haven’t completely come undone. You just have to make sure you use the tool they come with and some pressure to tighten them well. They’re expensive but worth the splurge.

Excellent product, with some reservations
I used the kit to knit two items. On the plus side: I liked the smooth, color-coded and effective needles, very easy to knit with, and the transparent carrying case, with the needle sizes clearly marked. On the problem side: the included cables are long and medium lengths, but there is no short cable for knitting small items. Also, after about a month of use the two plastic flaps in the back of the carrying case, where the cables are stored, detached themselves from the case, one after the others. I had to tape them back in place. Not very sturdy. Note: Pay attention to the needle size range: from 3.5mm to 8mm only (US 4-11).Later addition to the review: after using the 5mm needle 4 or 5 times, its screw thread broke and now it cannot be connected to any cable.

My first set and I’m happy!
This is my first set of interchangeable needles. I think it’s a good size range, coming from a crochet background. It’s good variety, the cables attach seamlessly and the pins to tighten them are great. I was confused at first about what the black discs were for, but I learned they’re to keep your project on the cable and secure the ends and use those needles for another project meanwhile. The cables are nice and pliable. The needles have a decent point. I like it so far!

Much easier to use than the hobby store brands.
It’s so much easier to knit using these needles than the ones from the hobby stores. The cord doesn’t twist and curl. The lock works great – I haven’t knitted a huge project like a blanket, but have had no problem with the needles coming apart from the cord. The connection is so strong that the tool has to be used to disassemble after you project is done. I chose the aluminum ones because I like the colors. Very happy with my purchase.

I have only had these for less than 6 months and 2 needles have already broken. They are not durable and definitely poor quality
