Adored Chameleon Filament Series – A color-changing material responsive to different light and angles. This filament is composed of special pigments that can perfectly conceal layer lines, allowing you to create stunning visual effects in your 3D printed creations. This series includes five colors: Burnt Titanium, Nebula Purple, Skydiver Blue, Rose Quartz, and Obsidian.
Ease of Use and Versatility – PLA is renowned for its user-friendliness, low printing temperature, and strong adhesion to common print surfaces. FLASHFORGE PLA Filament uses high-quality raw materials, ensuring perfect prints even with default settings. It also offers a variety of color options, including the beloved Chameleon series PLA.
Low Warping and Minimal Odor – FLASHFORGE PLA has a low shrinkage rate and minimal warping, allowing for exceptionally smooth surfaces. This makes it well-suited for indoor use and ideal for creating intricate and detailed prints, making it a perfect choice for artistic and decorative items. Additionally, it emits very little odor during the printing process.
Clog-Free, Bubble-Free – The filament is designed to be clog-free and bubble-free, ensuring a smooth and stable printing experience. It is dried for 24 hours, vacuum-sealed, and undergoes quality checks before leaving the factory.
Precision and Consistency – Advanced CCD diameter measurement and adaptive control systems ensure that 99% of the filament has a diameter of 1.75 mm with a tolerance of +/- 0.02 mm. Each spool contains 1 kg (2.2 lbs) of filament.

Very cool colors. Changes at different angles. Unique and cool effect.
I got this filament based on a post in a 3D printer forum. I have never used FlashForge filament before but I know of the brand. (mostly as a printer company that also makes filament)The Flash Forge Burnt Titanium color has a bit of a following on the forum I was reading though. I had to try it out. It printed fairly easily but I ended up lowing my bed temp from 60 to 55 to get better results. My prints were sticking originally but then coming loose occasionally. (enclosed printer which was probably getting too hot inside)I printed with a nozzle temp of 230 which could be too high. (220 might have been better at high speed) I wanted the most shine out of the filament and higher temps generally give you more shine. My next print will be at a lower nozzle temp. If it looks the same visually, I will print at a lower temp from now on.The models I printed look great. Everyone I have shown them to likes the colors. You can see black, green and a shade of blue depending on lighting conditions and the angle you look at it. (a combination of both) I attempted to photograph a model and I could get it to show multiple colors but it does not look as cool in the picture as it does in person. For some reason, the photos show the model in a single color for the most part. If there isn’t enough light, it sort of looks like light black. Tough stuff to photograph. This is not a tri color filament in the normal sense. It is like a mostly black, glitter like filament with the three colors showing at different angles. (at least that is what I think it is) I do not claim to know exactly how it does this.I like trying new types of filament especially filaments that give a print a unique look. This definitely checks all of the boxes. I will likely be ordering more of this at some point. Other than vases, reptiles and dragons, I am not sure what else I will print with this. It isn’t for every model but when it works, it really works.

Bright, Smooth, and Easy to Print
The Rainbow PLA prints beautifully with consistent feed and smooth layers. Colors are vibrant, and the filament works well on most FDM printers. Layer lines are minimal, and it’s easy to handle. Perfect for fun, eye-catching projects.

Beautiful Color and Top-Notch Print Quality!
The color is vibrant, consistent, and looks amazing on finished prints—exactly what I was hoping for. It has a smooth, rich tone that really pops, whether I’m printing small models or larger pieces.Print quality has been excellent. The filament feeds perfectly with no jams, and layer adhesion is solid. I’ve had zero issues with warping or stringing, and the surface finish is clean and professional-looking every time. It’s clear this is a high-quality filament, and it’s become my go-to for any projects that need a bright, eye-catching pink. Highly recommend for anyone who wants great results and reliable performance!

Beautiful, rich, dynamic color, good strength, non-clogging.
Really beautiful filament, prints in a beautiful dynamic deep blue color that glitters a little and changes in subtle ways depending on the angle of the light. Filament doesn’t clog, and only cracked once when left out on my desk for about two weeks during a humid spell in the summer (and only the stretched out section on the end cracked – keep your filament dry folks!). Photos don’t do this filament justice, but see them anyway 🙂 Good stuff, good strength, reasonable price.

“Rainbow” PLA doesn’t match example dragon well
I’m a big fan of Flashforge PLA, its been easy to print and consistent. All gradient and mixed colors I’ve ordered so far have been beautiful except “Rainbow” PLA’s actual color variation match the example print very well.In my opinion there are far too many orange layers which has lead to the majority of your print turning out variations brown or dark oranges with sparse sections of blues and greens and off-yellows.If you look close at the side of the spool in the background rather than the example print you’ll see why it turns out that way. In my experience you’re more likely to the example dragon as a variation of brown/orange.I’ll rate the other Flashforge filaments I’ve tried highly, “Burnt Titanium” looks totally awesome on almost anything, but this one is a miss for me. The colors aren’t bad, but most of my prints end up a variation of burnt orange or brown with other sections being too short. Still prints well though.

It produces a good quality print. Compare to the previous brand that I’m using. This one is by far the best filament that I have used.

I was looking for a gray spool of filament for my new 3d printers. This filament is good and strong. I made a video game controller with it and it looks fantastic. I just printed another one for a friend. Good buy!
