Decent for the price
I have purchased a number of items from Coopay and have overall been satisfied with them. This one is not my absolute favorite, but it is good.The fabric quality on the bag is not as nice as some of their other bags, it is not quite as durable and quality, but it does what it needs to do and gives you a variety of of ways to hold hooks and a way to corral your items. The hook is especially handy to hook in a car if you are a passenger princess crocheter.The kit is good for beginners as it has all the tools and more that you need to get started, and for the price is a good beginner kit.The yarn had a nice little variety of colors, but is very small quantity. It is enough to do a few small projects, but it will split a bit and is not perfect, but a lot of yarns are splitty when crocheting so for the price this can give you an idea of how frustrating or not that may be. I was able to use some of the yarn just fine for a cute little project I made when designing a pattern and I am happy with how it turned out, tho it will pill over time if you make anything that will rub against itself, like garments.Overall, this is fin for kids and adults and is a good little started kit with low upfront investment. Go spend your money on yarn.

Good for beginners (except the yarn)
I bought these so that I could try out crocheting without paying too much upfront if I ended up disliking it. Now that I’ve been crocheting for a few months I find the hooks are pretty good quality. The ergonomic grips do tend to slide off if you use a hook a lot but that was an easy fix with some glue. The yarn however was not the easiest to work with as a beginner as it splits very easily. Some of the tools are meant for knitting but the tools for crocheting are very helpful starting off. Overall a good product for the price 👍

This has it all. Yarn, hooks, markers and so much more. A case that is cute to keep everything in it. I am jealous that this combo was not available 55 years ago! My only comment is that the instructions are not very good.This is worth the money.

I bought this kit a couple of years ago, so I’ve had quite some time to use the items inside and give it some thought. There are some pieces of this kit that I still use today, but most I do not.The yarn was a non-starter right from the beginning – way too small, splitty, and fragile. A lot of the random supplies (such as the weird shaped needles) seem to be for knitting and not crochet (I have never used them but a friend told me they were cable needles for knitting). As a complete beginner, the supplies were a little baffling at first and I still haven’t figured some of them out.However, there are quite a few items that I still use. The stitch markers are a must have for a beginner, though I wish they gave you more of them. The hooks are pretty good quality for the price, though as I move on to higher quality hooks you can definitely tell these are cheapos. As a beginner though, it is a fantastic range of sizes to have on hand and they are more than serviceable – I still use them if it’s an unusual size that I haven’t replaced yet. The tape measure is great. The bag itself is a neat little place to keep all of your notions together, though I have not yet found a need to use the hanging hook.All in all, this isn’t a terrible kit, especially if you are starting out from scratch. The price is certainly right, especially if you catch it on sale. Really the best things to come out of this are the bag, the hooks, and the stitch markers. But I feel like the yarn and the random assortment of supplies (some of which I’m not sure you can even use in crochet) are a waste of space that could have been used on more helpful items.
