These hooks are great! Just like the tulip etimo red! Great price and the other accessories are nice to have. The case is a bonus too. Highly recommend!

Very nice ergonomic starter set
This is a great beginner crochet kit. It has everything you need to get started except maybe a measuring tape and a stitch counter. But you can start most projects without those things. The Pom Pom maker is a cool bonus and I’m excited to try using one!!The hooks are a nice range of common sizes. I’ve never had an ergonomic set of hooks and usually use the basic straight metal hooks so I was excited to try these. They are definitely comfortable to hold and I feel like my tension is looser with these. I have a tendency towards tight stitches and found that these helped me crochet looser stitches. I was worried the grips would get in the way of some of the larger stitches like treble or bobble or star but it didn’t. I did a bobble with 7 yarn overs and all the loops fit on the hook. The metal part of the hook could be smoother. There’s definitely a little more friction when sliding the hooks between the yarn and you can hear it. They come with the stitch markers I was looking for so I’m exited to have those in my supply now.The only strange thing is the pouch says “Fortunate” on the front. It makes me think this is a promotional product that they are selling to recoup some money back. So probably won’t make a good gift set but for your own personal use this would do fine. It’s a good beginner set and a good value.

product did not come with a case or the complete set of materials advertised. i’m disappointed to see that others received the full set but i did not. i was not notified of any changes to what i purchased.
