Perfect For Your Favorite Knitter
I bought this as a gift for my grandmother who has been knitting her entire life. She was a seamstress before she retired and she was extremely impressed with the cute design and the functionality of the bowl and how well it keep the yarn under control while she’s knitting.

It’s cute, not just for her
Well made, super cute but smaller than I thought, but that’s on me. I do suggest that you change the (sexist sounding) description of a “gift for her” to perhaps a “gift for her or him” since more and more males are crocheting and knitting.

Very cute, but not very sturdy – nice for a decoration
This is very cute, and would probably be nice as a decoration, but it isn’t very structurally sound and probably not good to actually use for it’s intended purpose. The first one arrived broken, and thinking it was just a bad glue spot or flaw in the wood, I ordered a replacement. This was shipped right away and arrived immediately. Unfortunately, the second one had the same weak area. The second, replacement one, was not broken, but you could see where there was a place in this one also had the potential to break in the same area. This was a gift for someone who crochets, and with the use of pulling and the yarn during crocheting and the potential for it to maybe fall or get banged around a little, I returned the replacement. It just isn’t very structurally sound. Super cute, and I love the color of the wood and the texture is great – sanded smoothly so it wouldn’t catch the yarn at all. So, really more of a decorative bowl than a functional yarn bowl.

Bought as a Christmas present for my daughter in law. She is a great knitter and crochet lady. She also has a gorgeous cat. This hit the nail on both accounts and she was delighted with it.

This yarn holder is so cute BUT the spiral that holds the wool is unfinished and so it frays the wool as you are working. I can’t believe any knitter/crocheter would use this item. Good thing about it was it was very easy to return. No I would not recommend this and a definite no I would not buy it again.
