This electric yarn winder has completely changed the way I prep for my crochet and knitting projects. Setup was quick and straightforward, and I was winding yarn within minutes. Compared to hand winding or manual winders, this saves an incredible amount of time and effort.The motor is smooth and surprisingly quiet, which I really appreciate. The adjustable speed control is a huge plus—it lets me slow things down for delicate yarns and speed up for thicker skeins without any issues. Every skein I’ve tried so far has turned into a neat, center-pull yarn cake with no tangles or snags.I also love how compact and well-designed it is. Slow and does not wind up evenly
Edit: it stopped working so I am returning this for a full refund. Back to my manual winder.You need to pay attention when winding. It can over pull and cause tension on your yarn. I would not use this on my expensive lace silk and/or mohair skeins. I wound 50g yarn lace weight skein with a yarn swift and it seems to struggle more than the worsted weight yarn. I tried another skein and it did the same thing. I get better results with my manual yarn winder. It is also slow. I am also disappointed that it needs to use usb-c to power this up. My fault for not making sure but as mentioned not enough power to wind effectively and made it difficult to find a spot to plug it in. It’s not even wireless! Also it wound the yarn unevenly. I wished I took a picture but it is evident in another reviewer’s picture how uneven it looked. My uneven ball of yarn became a pain to knit with because it somehow is in knots halfway through my project .Just if you buy this, you have to baby it.

I used this compact and exquisite electronic winding machine, which saved me a lot of time. It can adjust the speed and is suitable for different thicknesses of yarn. It doesn’t knot and runs very smoothly.

Balls up the yarn like I want!
This has been super amazing rolling the yarn into compact balls. I don’t even need to use the table hold for it! It does get kind of stuck but it could be that I use jumbo yarn for it. Very worth the money in my opinion

A yarn winder that burns out quickly
At first I was very pleased with this yarn winder but after just a few uses, the motor seems to have stopped working. The device is plugged in and mounted properly, but will not turn. It just gave out, good money down the drain, so disappointing.

Great
This is a game changer! No more messy skeins flopping all over the place. This yarn winder works like a charm. I’ve only wound 2 skeins of yarn, but this thing is awesome. It was easy to assemble and attach to my little side table. The speed is adjustable, and there are 2 springs that maintain a good tension so the yarn doesn’t tangle. It is also pretty quiet which is nice since while I crochet I usually have a show on as background noise. Bonus points for amusing the household felines. They think it’s fun.

not worth the money
it did not last a week before it completely gave out. shame, it was cute, it just didn’t last. the little motor burned out. I did all the rational tech support steps, cords, outlets and boxes changed and still nothing even thought those same cords outlets and boxes powered other devices. not worth the money. Returned .
