I was making an XL sweater with granny squares so you can imagine that took a lot of squares. After assembling the blocks the size was perfect for my squares, although I had to put several together. The only thing I thoughts could have been better is the pins should have been longer.

These blocking mats are fantastic for blocking out larger projects like shawls, blankets, and clothing. I love that they can be rearranged to suit your project, and taken apart for easy storage. Seriously, it’s such a game changer. Prior to this, I just used a bunch of towels layered on top of each other on the floor – effective, but less efficient. These blocking mats work perfectly and they keep a firm hold of your T-pins, as well (much better than towels layered on top of each other on the floor!). They also help your project dry more quickly than just using towels. If you regularly knit or crochet large projects that need blocking, I highly recommend these blocking mats.

Bare basics, but worth the price
I got what I bought. They are just plain fit together tiles with gridlines. The carry bag is nice, clear with a handle. T-pins and a box of stitch markers also come with the blocks. Nothing fancy, just practical.

Nice Blocking Set
This is a really nice blocking set for my crochet items. The foam blocks fit together easily, are a nice thickness, and it comes with a box of T-pins and a box of stitch markers, plus a bag to neatly store everything away in when not in use. My only con for this product is that the blocks I received are gray instead of white. I feel like it is easier to block items on white, especially if your piece is done in colored yarn.
