nice yarn winder
I just started crocheting and bought A LOT of yarn and needed something to store multiple skeins into compact yarn cakesfigured out the max capacity of the winder handling 5oz (142g) 251 yards (230m) of #4 worsted (medium) yarnso I got about four cakes that came out from a Pound of Love Lion brand yarnThe winder is well assembled, I noticed that they put some silicone grease in the gears to make the winder extra silent and have less wearthe extra stitch markers and scissors for the price are a fantastic plus!

Great product and price
This yarn winder is very easy to put together. Love how easy it is to use. I balled 12 (7 ounce) skeins of yarn in about 1 1/2 hours. Everything that was pictured came with it. I especially like the scissors that are included. If you are looking for a good yarn winder for a decent price I highly recommend you get this one. You won’t regret it. Just don’t try use chunky yarn as I don’t think it will work. Other then that great design and size.

Pretty decent for price
Even when fully tightened down it’s a tad wobbly, but otherwise works well! All the accessories are plastic and somewhat durable from the few I used.

Good for the price but the stem part where you wind the yarn on falls off a lot. Tempted to just glue it on. Also if you try to make a cake bigger than it will allow, it will get caught on the metal bit and unravel part of it.

This works great for winding yarn! It’s better for the smaller skeins. For the bigger skeins I needed to split it in two, but it still worked great. I didn’t mind splitting it at all.This makes winding ball yarn into a working ball very easy and makes working the yarn much easier too:

Great value for the money
Bought this for a special needs group that will be making hats. This was so easy to use, kept hold on the side of the table very well. Tried with 4 weights of yarn and all but the thin junk yarn balled up nicely.
