Great all-in-one sewing kit for quilting projects
I bought this rotary cutter set specifically for a meaningful sewing project – I was making a memory quilt for my daughter using her baby clothes from her first year of life. I wanted a set that included everything I might need, and this one turned out to be a very good choice.The cutting mat exceeded my expectations. I honestly thought it would get scratched quickly from the rotary blade, but it holds up very well and still looks great after a lot of use. The square ruler was especially important for my project – the 6 x 6 inch (15 x 15 cm) size was exactly what I needed for cutting uniform squares, and it made the process much easier and more precise.I ended up using every single item from this kit, which doesn’t happen often. The storage folder is also very convenient and keeps everything organized.One small downside is that the rotary cutter blades are not extremely sharp and tend to dull fairly quickly. I often had to go over the same line more than once to get a clean cut. That said, it didn’t ruin the experience and the set still did its job well.Overall, this was a very successful purchase. A practical, well-thought-out kit that worked perfectly for my project and made the whole process much more enjoyable.

Ok, the bad part of this package is the most prudent piece .. the rotary cutter.The wheel gets caught up on the housing. The rest of it is ok.The mat is very nice as well as the pins and exacto knife and blades. It’s nice it comes with a convenient bag for everything but the bag is cheap pressed fiber. I might’ve been generous with 3 stars….

The mat is quite small and was useless for me. The cutter is okay. It cuts but I had to use a lot of pressure and the lock does unlock itself sometimes. I like that it came with extra blades. I kept it because I needed to finish a project and am okay with the cutter.
