Great for sleeves
I was excited to try these interchangeable needles, especially since they came with shorter cords than zi have gotten before. It makes them a lot easier to use than doing a magic loop for things like socks and sleeves. For the most part, I am happy with them. It is a little fiddly getting one of the ends screwed on to one side of the shortest cord. I tried with multiple sizes on that same cord, so it seems to be an issue on the end of the cord. Once I got the ends attached, the needles worked really well. They are comfortable to use and are a pretty good quality. It is easy to change from one size to another when you need to work the ribbing without having to use a whole new set. I like that the set comes with caps to attach to the ends of the cord so your knitting can stay secure. They also come in a nice storage case that holds all of supplies for this set. They are a decent value for the money, too.

Very good value!
I was a little worried these wouldn’t be excellent since they were so inexpensive, but I’m very impressed. One thing I like is the wire rotates (spins freely) within the metal casing, which I think is very nice and relieves tension on the connection.

Best if you’re used to 2″ tips
These are extremely short tips. If you’re used to working with 2″ tips, these will be great for you. Im struggling a little, especially with the larger needles

Great little set!
Really excited about this set! I’m a knitting newbie, and this set has everything I need to get started, and to work on various types of projects. I especially like that I won’t be limited to each individual cable length, because there are adjoining connectors so that I can actually connect up to 3 of the cables at once for larger projects.The needles and cables are super easy to connect and even include a bar type tool and a rubber disk to more easily tighten them. I like that the cables and the tips can rotate independently from each other. I already have an old interchangeable circular needle set (the type with plastic cords), and those cords are in a fixed position in relation to the tips, which makes them awkward to attach. Add to that the fact that the plastic cords can’t withstand accidental bends (not something I’ve had happen, but I’ve inherited my set and there are a couple of plastic cables that are kinked or broken altogether). The plastic cables are really subpar compared to the actual twisted wire core cables in this kit. These are extremely flexible.This kit is beautiful to behold. From the beautiful flower print on the case, to the colors of the needles and cables, I love the look of this kit.The needles feel very lightweight and smooth. I’ll update here after I’ve gotten more use out of them to let y’all know how they hold up, but I have really high hopes. I am a crocheter, and have many crochet hooks and Tunisian hooks made of similar or the same materials, and they hold up great to regular use and wear.The value for money is this is outstanding. The old Boye interchangable set I bought 15 years ago (when I intended to start knitting but never got past my first scarf), was double this price back then, and isn’t nearly as versatile.Storing the included needle tips and cords, and replacing them in the case is simple and effortless. There’s no trying to “Tetris” everything back into place. It’s very stress free.Overall I would definitely order this again. It’s beautiful and feels like a very high quality set. I’m not really sure if the asymmetrical nature of these will be helpful or not, but at the very least I don’t think it will cause issues. I’ll come back after I have more experience to go on so I can report to y’all with better info. So far, I’m pleased.The case is 9″ x 4¾”.*My only concern with this kit is the zipper. It works, but it’s a little less smooth and effortless than I would like, so I worry it won’t hold up forever. Not enough to remove a star just yet, but I’ll update my review if needed in the future.

Yarn got snagged
End of needles, where cable is attached, is rough and uneven, it protrudes from border, yarn got stuck on it. All needles on the kit had the same defect, causing yarn snags. Returned them immediately.

Missing Pieces
The needles themselves are pretty much what I was expecting. However, the pack was missing stuff. The mini crochet hooks were missing, which I really don’t care about. However, the red cable was missing, which is irritating because these don’t work with the other cables I have are too big, so the lack of one cord means a lot. I would have returned them and gotten a new set, but I desperately need them for a project and I don’t have the time to wait for a new set. I do wish I would have gone with another set.

Something new in my knitting bag!
Asymmetrical circular needles are new to me but I knit hats all the time and thought I would give them a try. In researching, I found that they are super for sleeves, socks and other small items, but I have found that they work great for my hats as well! the set has needles from size 2 to 11 so everything I could need. The needles also come in a nice zippered case with slots for all the needles and a pocket for the cords. The needles are joined by screwing them in to the cords and I have not had any snags, the joins are very smooth. It will take some getting used to having one needle shorter than the other but I am up for the challenge!12-13/25 update- these have become my favorite needles for hat making.l! Once I got used to the asymmetrical needles, it is so smooth! The yarn really moves off the left needle since it is the smaller needle and the larger needle in my right hands makes it easy to pick up stitches quickly. I have not had any issues with yarn snagging and have even used two cords at once with the extender when I was needing a magic loop length. Would love to add more cords to accommodate all my WIPs!
