A most loved gift from Grandma
I gifted this to my (tween) Grandaughter for Christmas. She asked for a twin sized weighted blanket for Christmas.She totally loved the blanket, its color and its perfect weight! I found her watching TV with it on even.I combined it with a stuffed animal that has a microwavable heating pillow inside of it for bedtime. She reported she slept exceptionally well the very first time she used it and looks forward to many more nights like it.I added on the gift- that “some of the weight in the blanket is Grandma hugging you every night”. Great product
I was worried it may be too heavy. I’m 185 pounds and purchased 15 pound blanket. I think I could easily have gone up to 20 pound. Weight is distributed throughout the blanket so the full weight is not overwhelming. I have trouble sleeping so this has certainly helped. Also glad I purchased a cover since it is spot clean only. I would certainly purchase again.

Balancing the weight
I have been wanting a weighted blanket for a while as I need something that helps with my anxiousness in getting to sleep and helps hold in the heat. I love the color and design, though with the filling beads that are in it seem to disperse all along the edges of my bed. That’s my only qualm with it. As a suggestion I would go maybe 2-5 lbs lighter with another one and I would kind of hope they’d have a version that has some kind of quilting that evenly disperses the beads. The dispersement would then hold them in place so they don’t all go to the end where gravity takes them. Otherwise it gets very lumpy on the ends and very hard to pull. It’s still does the trick in holding heat and keeping me calm or in deep sleep, but a couple of little additions would help.

Super comfy!
I got this for my son who struggles with anxiety. He loves it! We were worried it may be too hot, but it stays pretty cool and provides the right amount of pressure for him to sleep peacefully. Highly recommend!

Needs a cover, weight ‘cells’ are larger than my other blankets
Heads up that I received this product through the Amazon Vine program to write this review.So first up, the blanket material is fairly similar to a premium competitor’s material, but also note that Im talking about the “inner”. This product doesn’t include the “outer” cover for the blanket, so factor that into the cost.If you don’t know what I’m talking about….weighted blankets have a weighted piece and a cover, and they are tied to each other in various places (including the corners) through the loops (visible in the picture).The other thing to note about this is that the “cells” in the blanket where the weighted beads are held are larger in this blanket than my others. The cells are 4.5 inches square (versus 3 inches square). The effect of this is that more weight can accumulate into a pressure point if the cell is larger making it feel more lumpy, its also presumably more costly to make the cells smaller in manufacturing. So my assessment of this blanket is that it shouldn’t be considered a premium product.But is it a weighted blanket, yes of course. Will it work, of course. But I know there are competitive products, so my grade for it is a middle of the road 3 stars.

Soft and heavy!
From the pic I didn’t think this would be as soft as it is I was pleasantly surprised! I love this blanket. My new go to cover!
