UPDATE: [18-JAN-24]After posting my original review on 09-JAN-2024 I had also emailed SEEKONE Support with the photo and explanation of my heat gun experience. They were very responsive and didn’t hesitate in sending me a replacement under their lifetime warranty. As a verified buyer with my Amazon invoice # they quickly UPS shipped at no cost to me a brand new replacement unit. I was expecting to get a part just to repair the nozzle, but this is even better! As a product service manager myself this is the high-quality customer service and support I expect to provide my own customers! THANK YOU to SEEKONE Support! I’ll be sure to take my own advice when using the new device, “1) Do not use for extended heating periods. 2) allow the mini-heat gun to cool in between uses for a minute. 3) Never block the intake vents during use.”### Original Review 09-JAN-24 ###I purchased in 2022 this mini barrel style heat gun to help handle smaller jobs with wiring for automotive, small electronics, and projects that required access to small or narrow spaces for heat-shrink terminations, heat-shrink tubing, and light-weight soldering/tinning of wire. It also handles very well all jobs for removing decals or adhesive glued-on items that do not need the super high-heat of a larger temp handheld heat gun for removal. It’s size is also perfect for storing inside the house in a utility cabinet or drawer for quick access!After two-years of use II was using this mini heat gun to handle some more projects that wound up needing me to run it for several minutes at a time, this is considered extended use and typically only handled by my more heavy-duty construction grade heat guns. What i found is the effect under extended time use the heat build-up around the nozzle simply was too great for the plastic barrel bezel to withstand after exposure to use over 5-minutes at a time. I was watching my work and noticed the gradual deformation of the nozzle and immediate stopped my work to allow the unit to cool. The nozzle does cool down and hardened into a deformed shape. I was able to bend out the plastic nozzle a bit back to shape after reheating for a few minutes so I can use the tip attachments, but it will not be going back to its uniform shape again.The mini heat gun is still useable, but I am going to contact SEEKONE to get a replacement plastic nozzle bezel to maintain proper shielding during work. As an experienced tech using many styles of heat guns, I conclude this review by saying this is a very basic barrel style mini heat gun that is designed for smaller projects for household, arts & crafts, and lighter load projects with electrical or DIY building. It is NOT a heavy-duty heat gun and thus meets my expectation why I originally purchased it.It has worked for me nearly two years and has done a fantastic job for what its value provides. In response to the other negative reviews that also show the melting of the nozzle bezel piece, I just add that you should always monitor your use of a heat gun, never let it run for extended periods of time, always turn off in between uses and allow to cool for a minute before running again, always use in a well-ventilated place, and lastly, know what your tool is meant to be used for!At under $15 this mini heat gun has performed very well and meets it intended use expectations and proved to be a good value for its price. I am only taking off one star due to fact that getting a replacement nozzle part is still pending. I’ll post and update if I hear back from SEEKONE support regarding my request for a replacement nozzle head. [Issue Resolved – Replacement Unit Received] Five ***** Stars!

Outstanding heatgun!
Outstanding mini heat gun for the price! So easy to use and has an attachment to make it hands free as well for better functionality. You won’t need to keep it on for long as the melt rate (to which it melts an object) is pretty quick. I had no issues using this device to complete some wiring splices and heatshrink tubing which saved me so much more money than buying a bigger more over-priced one.

Handy
Very handy. This little dryer is simple to use. 2 settings hi and lo. Metal bracket makes it easy to set on table. Using it for a quick dry on my watercolors. Like it.
