So I have used probably 20+ different brands from cheap to way over priced. I was looking for a new brand that i could use only their products. Let me tell you, this has the most perfect viscosity of ANY resin i have tried. So my first trial, I was top coating tumblers. Here is what I found:1. My room temp 68.4 F2. Humidity: 53%3. Batch size: 30 ml4. Mixing review: started mix at 1015am. Gorgeous low viscosity, mixed 3 minutes with popcicle stick, since they produce more bubbles. Quick mixing and ribbon dissipation with scraping sides and bottom of the cup. I’m a nurse by trade and have the nose of a bloodhound and this has very little to no odor in my working environment.4. Degassing: bubbles released immediately in this small batch.5. Work time disclaimer: GET EVERYTHING READY BEFORE YOU MIX! Be prepared to start at once. This cures in 1 hour so working time is less than 10 minutes.6. Work material: glitter burnished stainless steel 20 oz tumbler.7. Application: resin glided over the glitter with ease. Application was like silk. Drizzled slowly on tumbler as it spun on turner and coated with gloved hand. Resin covered and self leveled quickly. Ran torch over quickly to pop any friction bubbles from rubbing product on. Left to spin dry.8. Resin was noticeably warm by minute 6 and started getting thicker at minute 10. But was still workable.9. Outcome: cure to fingertip touch at 45 minutes. And at 1 hour if you pressed your fingernail you would leave a slight indent. Full unrestricted and unprinted cure at 68.4 degress achieved at 1:30 minutes. I’m sure if my studio was over 70 it would have been much quicker.Overall, the 1 hr fast set from promise has luxurious low viscosity, easy degassing, mixed like butter and amazing cure time. This is my top coat of choice for sure.Professional pearls: i would not use this for marbling or techniques that would require your pigments to move and shift, dry and work time will reduce that movement. Don’t spray it with alcohol, it degasses great on tumblers with a light torch. From experience fast sets can get an amine blush with alcohol. As far as mold casting, thin molds only as this stuff is lightening fast, pour too deep you might have a flash cure. I can’t wait to try this in some high detail coaster molds. This is now my holy grail for top coats, hands down. It also is pretinted blue in one part, which is vital to prevent yellowing. Super easy clean-up with 91% ipa.Considering i poured in lower temps than manufacturer recommends, purposefully introduced bubbles with popsicle stick, and had a lower humidity, this out performed every fast cure I have ever tried.I’d give it 100 stars! Buy it. Try the small bottle first….trust me, your going to go back.

IMPRESSIVE. I have been making epoxy tumblers for about 6 years, I run a small business out of my home making them. I have tried a bunch of different epoxy brands over the years but THIS one is HANDS DOWN the most impressive fast set I have used. I just coated 2 tumblers a little over an hour ago. They are touchable already. The clarity is crystal clear. I had used a different brand on these 2 tumblers and they had a bajillion fish eyes, so I sanded them and gave them a coat of this stuff. I torched them to remove bubbles and they are bubble free and beautiful. One of the tumblers had such deep wells from the fisheyes I will need to give it another coat to completely level it out, but it did such a good job the first coat of leveling out the wobbly sections. I started with this 32 oz kit to try it out, now Im going to buy the giant bottles. Excellent for tumbler coating. I haven’t tried this for any other kind of resin projects but it definitely works for tumblers.

I am pleased to confirm this Promise epoxy 1 hour cure resin works as advertised. I have used it 4 times now with same results. I’m not being paid to write this review. Did not get it free.Tip: When reading negative reviews on this product, keep in mind mixture ratios and temperature does have effect on successful application. Be sure you mix 1:1. Verify your measuring cup, not all are accurate. I poured coaster sized projects with a few jewelry pieces. My working temperature was approximately 69-76 deg. Mix well, scrape sides. Stir slowly to avoid bubbles.Warning: Be prepared ahead of time as you do not have a lot of working time (molds, additives, color etc…). I estimate 10-15 minutes once mixed. Will start setting up rather quickly. I ordered a small 32 oz. container first to test it out. Just bought a 1/2 gallon of this resin. Love it, reduces my waiting time for multilayered projects.

I don’t write reviews much but felt like I should on this one. Been looking for an epoxy like this for a long time. I turn bowls and make tables. Haves a lot of cracks and voids to fill as well as stabilizing wood to make it more durable. The 12 to 24 hour epoxy makes for a long, drawn-out process. This stuff is amazing! Mix it 50 – 50, apply within 10 -15 minutes, which you can apply a lot in that amount of time, even mixing sand dust in for filler. I’ve applied it and was able to sand it within an hour’s time without gumming up my paper. Its super glossy and most of my stuff needs a satin finish, so I just have to sand it till completely hazed out, then spray with satin polyethylene. Makes for super hard, nice professional finish. Also, after about 20 min. of set time it can be used like a putty for about 10 min. Will reorder, thanks so much!

The best epoxy resin on the market! I especially love how it cures with 1 hour! Almost no bubbles during the pour! Whenever I’m doing a pour and I’ve made too much, I’ll pour the remaining into my silicon moulds. Easy to use and absolutely no smell! I did a pour on this piece I’ve made.

Great epoxy
Epoxy works great but starts to cure really fast! Its thin and applies nicely. I tried using then adding alcohol ink to swirl and it set too fast but it worked great with glitter and as a final coat!
