Awesome long-wave UV light for making object fluoresce
I bought the light as a cheap substitute for a piece of lab equipment, basically a long-wave UV light to make certain chemicals fluoresce while I observe or take photos. It was very bright for my purposes, so bright that I actually moved it away from the samples to lower the intensity and reflected light intensity. Worked great. I did not buy it to solidify resins, but I might someday. I was travelling when I first tested it, and was not aware of the type of power it needed, but I was able to use my portable phone charger battery’s USB-C output to run the lamp, with little power used.

**Update**My original 3 star review is below. The company reached out to me They were concerned so I sent pics and explained the situation. She totally understood and sent me a new one at no charge! I haven’t used it yet but man – that’s customer care! They do not anticipate the new lamp will have the same fate and I do believe I just got a lemon the first time. I love company’s that are honest and wants to truly help their customers! So excited to have a flexible lamp again! Would absolutely do business with this company again!*********I purchased this in April and by July it was dunzo. I have to wear gloves due to allergies and the button is hard to operate at times but I accepted that and moved on to use mainly for the sides of things as I have a different lamp to do most of the solid top/bottom curing. By July with maybe 2 hours of use a month, it is now done. I turned it on, it stayed on in steady mode, the button quit working, and after 30 minutes of continuous on it turned off and never came on again. It wasn’t about the power charge or anything. I believe it was the button and no resin was on the button or anything, it just broke. I did like that I could hang it on a short peg off the table when storing it. I did like the flexibility of it.

When fully charged, this lamp does a great job of curing resin. The downside is that the curing power seems to diminish once the light is unplugged. However, after posting my original review about this, the company reached out to offer a partial refund and said they will continue to try to improve it moving forward. The way the lamp folds allows for easy storage, but can make it hard to set the lights up over your items. (The lamp part is heavier than the base and will tip over at certain angles, if not supported.)

Resiner’s should boost this product a lot more!
For the price and the fact that I had it same-day delivered, it’s worth every cent. The uv light ranges so widely that I was able to cure multiple pieces at the same time. I going to buy one more just like this in addition to buying two of the double sided uv lamps as well. I’ll be more than ready for all of my holiday crafting projects. And let’s not forget that it’s small enough to st I can easily travel with it!

A lower power light
Meh it is not particularly stronge or effective at curing uv epoxy. The way it has an arm makes it difficult to change the hight of the light. It does not have an auto shut off even after hours of the light being on. It can be used unplugged for a while… it claims to have a wider range of uv light, but works no better… ya. It does cure stuff slowly….

Por ahora ha cumplido mis expectativas. Tengo que decir que soy novata en el uso de la resina y no sé cómo “profesional” que hay que esperar de una lámpara así. Para pequeños trabajos me ha funcionado a la perfección, sobre todo el poder mover la luz a la altura que necesitaba y demás. Aparte el diseño es muy bonito y ergonomico
