Great quality and value, better than expected
I was very hesitant to order this set as I am a yarn snob and only own the “best” (or so I’m told) quality tools for my hobby. I LOATHE using double pointed needles unless I MUST (think sick toes) and much prefer those tiny circular needles for tiny little diameters. Unfortunately, knitting a toddler sweater for the first time I realized none of my current pricey interchangeable sets worked….the tips were too long!! So, waffling between one set of mini tips with one tiny little cord for $15 or purchasing this complete set with multiple sizes and different cord lengths for slightly more than twice that amount was a no brainer! I was totally blown away how smooth the joins are and how easy it was to knit that darn toddler sleeve!! And, even though I’m not a fan of overly sparkly, iridescent cases, this one does the job! It holds all the needles in place and had a pocket for the cords and other tools needed. So very happy with my purchase!! Now if they’d only make a more “refined” looking case for us yarn/knitting snobs!🤣🤣🤣

Well worth the cost
These needles are perfect. I’m finally able to make hats without using DPNs. When the decreases made the cord too short, i switched to a shorter cord. The cord was then flexible enough, I could pull it out between stitches when the decreases got down to just twelve stitches to finish my project. The stitches slid smoothly from the cord to the needles. I had returned a cheaper set and paid $10 more for these. So glad I did!

Just what I needed for knitting sleeves and hats. Considering the price point, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cables and joins. I knew before purchasing this set that it wouldn’t be compatible with my cables from my other sets, but there is a sufficient variety of lengths included so it isn’t an issue for me. Also, cable extenders are included.

I needed a small circle needle in a US 11 for the arm of a bulky sweater I’ve been working on and my Knitpro and Chiagoo shorties didn’t have that size. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a set for that one size. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these needles. The joins are smoother than my Knitpro/Knit Picks shorties, the cables are very flexible and it comes with a good variety of cable lengths. I think these will be more of my go to shorties from now on.

I use and carry around this set all the time. I like that the needles are shorter so i can make smaller circumference projects. Everything screws on and off easily, no snags so far. I haven’t brought this set on a plane though, so not sure if it’ll go through tsa

This little cheap set of 3″ interchangeable knitting needles is a real surprise. I wasn’t expecting much from this set like the join being smooth, etc. But this little set isn’t bad for the $40, needles attach smoothly and the joint is smooth. The cables are very flexable also. I didn’t want to spend much money with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up, plus having paid the rent for a young woman who was need.If you looking for a good set of cheap circulars that won’t disappoint you, then this is the set for you.

I’m happy with this set of shortie needles, even though there is one minor issue. They are very well made with no issues whatsoever with the needles themselves. The cables are also nice, but I don’t love that the there is some wiggle with the cables in the connectors. The cables are secured very well inside the connectors, but they move in and out more than I would like. This connection doesn’t seem to catch the yarn, but I don’t like how it feels when I am knitting.The needle sizes are engraved onto the needles, so there is no worry about them wearing off. I doubled checked the sizes with two different needle gauges and they are perfectly sized.The case is very nice and holds everything in place. It holds the three included cables, the end caps, the little key for tightening, and the little gripper. And be sure to use that gripper when tightening your cables! That’s what will help them get tight enough to not fall off when you are knitting. It is super important.I did test to see if the needles were compatible with KnitPick/KnitPro cables, but unfortunately they are not. I’m not sure what other types of cables are compatible, but I would love to get a few more for sure.Ultimately, how you feel about this will come down to how much you like shortie needles. I like them for sleeves and socks, but not for larger projects.
