I love it.
I love it. It makes small cakes of yarn and works wonders. I have it attached to my nightstand and it hasn’t slipped yet. Easy to use for beginners. Would def recommend. Definite great value for the amount of money!

My grandson loves this . He now winds his yarn in ball quicker without his arms getting tired.He crochet s gifts and other items for sell in open markets ,so having the yarn in ball make it easier.

Saves a lot of time
Very useful for unwinding, rewinding yarn!Sometimes it loosens its grip and I have to retighten it. Sometimes the metal yarn holder will fall down when winding quickly.But good for the price.

Utter Garbage.
The instructions are awful,…. I’ve owned one of these before, I just got this one bc I wanted the teal color instead of what I already had,…. so I knew how to work it but a newbie struggle.The table clamp doesn’t open enough to clamp onto any of my tables,… not my craft table, my dining table, my coffee table, not even the tv trays.The yarn guide won’t stand up, it keeps falling down halfway through winding a cake and then the yarn gets tangled under the spindle and stuck in the gears.The edges on the bottom of the spindle and also on the top of the spindle ridges are unusually sharp and snagging the yarn completely negating the usefulness of it, all together.Came in some generic box, probably 3d printed in someone’s spare bedroom,… definitely not good quality,…not even mediocre quality,….I definitely DONT recommend!!

You do have to keep an eye on the yarn as it’s winding, the metal arm doesn’t stay up like it should. Other than that it works good

Time and space saver!
Rewrapping my skeins has made them all fit in my storage bins. The yarn “cakes” are much less likely to tangle, and its really fast and easy to use.Its not too loud, but its not quiet either.I save my tp rolls and stick them on the winder, then I wind the yarn around that. It makes the cakes come off easier and I use a portable tp roll holder to dispense my yarn
