Excellent and Beautiful
I have recently taken up crochet. This yarn holder is both beautiful and functional. Some reviews mention that the inside is not as smooth as the outside and is rough enough for the yarn to catch. I cannot speak for theirs, but mine is smooth, and the yarn does not catch. The outside is polished, and the inside is not, but mine has still been sanded to a smooth finish. I love it.

Has a second use!
I bought this for yarn, and it’s extremely well made, but I just keep using it with a roll of toilet paper for a hidden tissue box! It’s absolutely perfect next to the bed and is MUCH classier than a loo roll just sitting there in the open lol. I pull it through the side and it tears it perfectly when I pull forward. Ten out of ten, and I need another for actual yarn from my yarn winder that I can confirm it will fit the cakes from!

The bowl is gorgeous. It is big enough to hold a large ball of yarn. The lid is genius it keeps the ball in place. This bowl is even prettier than the picture.

Perfect for Balls of yarn
I really wanted to like this and was very excited when it came. However it will not work for my need. It is well made but the couple issues that prevented me from loving it are the skeins that I use should fit but are too tight. Also the inside while smooth isn’t “waxy” smooth. The yarn doesn’t rotate without pulling. So for that reason I will be returning it. Now if you are using balls of yarn this will be perfect. I don’t want to reroll every skein just so I can use it.
