Good filament for high speed printers
I’m using this stuff in my Bambu Labs X1C and in my Voron 2.4, I have to say that for its current inexpensive price I’m truly impressed. I haven’t had any issues with the filament even at really high speeds (500mm/s). I have used Bambu Labs PLA support material with the Elegoo PLA+ Rapid and it works great. I’ve been printing functional pieces and they have come out dimensionally accurate and strong, layer adhesion is really good and this stuff has no issues with sticking to the beds I’ve tried so far, two different textured PEI and two smooth with glue stick (both the cool plate and high temp plate Bambu stickers). No warping, sticks to the build plate, prints fast and models come out great. I bought one roll just to test out due to the current low price and have wound up ordering 8 more rolls so far. This stuff works great in printers meant for high speed printing. It’s not gonna make your Ender 3 magically capable of speed higher than the printer is built for but for Bambu Labs, Voron, RatRig, etc. this is a good high speed PLA+. The only con I’ve noticed is that the black isn’t truly black, it’s more of a really, really dark, almost black but really dark gray with a beautiful matte/satin sheen. Compared to Elegoo ASA and some other brands black ABS and PLA I have on hand, the lighter color of the Elegoo PLA+ Rapid is obvious but I’m good with it because it prints so well.

This works very good. I put it in my printer and 0 issues that works great. It’s very soon as good quality for sure. It’s not real stringy, as far as quality, and it comes out. Printed with perfect color there’s no issues with that. No problem, either with the moisture levels. Everything on that is perfect. I have 0 problems. Running this through my printer whatsoever. Everything is working. Good, good quality print and yeah holds up perfect afterwards.So this is a great deal for the money.No question

Excellent filament at budget prices!
Excellent filament for the price. I only buy these in 4kg bulk (12$~kg) and they print beautiful at high speeds compared to many other similar or more expensive brands. The only thing is dislike is the cardboard spools for an ams, but a 10 minute spool adapter solves that pretty easily. This is my go-to higher quality for less filament on Bambu.Why did you pick this product vs others?:Affordable, consistent, higher quality, good bed adhesion with cool plates. Very good color depth, usually on the shinier side of surface finish at 200-300mm/s. Good strong prints with good layer adhesion. Prints well at smaller layer heights.Value for money:Great value for the money. Prints like 20+ spools for less, bulk pricing makes this brand very affordable.Flow rate:I havent hit a cap on this yet at up to 300mm/s. I could go faster, but im more of a quality vs speed kinda guy.

Amazing Filament, poor winding
UPDATE: Elegoo got in contact with me and they’re amazing customer support took good care of my concern.I’ve been using Elegoo Rapid PLA+ almost exclusively for a year and a half and normally Elegoo filaments have been the easiest to get calibrated and printing. It is indeed very fast, I run my K1 with the Retro-D Orca Slicer super speed profile with 20k Accel. Here recently, and this is the reason for the 3 stars versus 4 or 5, their winding has been a bit lackluster. On more than a couple occasions the filament get jammed because as it unwinds it reaches a point where the filament is wedged in the side of the spool under the rest of the filament and the force required to pull more in becomes too great for the extruder and the filament begins to slip. I’ll continue to use it just will a closer eye than before. In the Image you can see how it is wound under the side. That one strand off by its lonesome on the right was where I caught on to what’s happening, as you can see it goes deep into the winding but that strand is only 2 layers into the spool. I could hear it yanking the filament

Smooth Printing and Vibrant Color!
This filament prints beautifully — consistent flow, great layer adhesion, and minimal stringing. The yellow color is bright and even, making finished prints look really professional. It sticks well to the bed and doesn’t warp, even on longer prints.I’ve used several PLA brands, and ELEGOO Rapid PLA Plus has quickly become one of my go-tos for reliable results and strong prints. Excellent value for the quality!

UPDATE 12/15/2025, ELEGOO customer support made it right, they quickly reached out to me and offered to replace my white roll with a new one, I really appreciate this, I received the brand new white roll and it has been printing perfectly. I am changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars because their customer service was spot on, and they made everything right.This is my first time buying Elegoo Filament and I have never had an experience with filiment like I am currently having with the white roll. I don’t know what machine wound the filament on the roll but they need to be checked immeadeately. Everytime I try to print with the white roll it stops my Bambulab A1 printer every 10-15 mintues becaue the inside of the roll is tangled. It’s like the part of the filament that comes out of the roll and goes into the printer is wound under the roll itself so every time the printer pulls more of it into the extuder it gets tighter and tighter until eventually it gets so tight that the printer can no longer pull it through the extruder and causes my print to stop. I then have to go to the roll and unwind it a bit so it will continue printing, then after 10-15 minutes again it gets really tight and the printer stops again! Not easy to use at all. I can’t speak to the quality of the filament because it has been such a hastle to use.

For elegoo printer it is a must have, prints perfectly out of box with default settings and can get a lot better with some tuning, consistent prints all the time. Perfect color white, doesn’t fades or turn yellowish.
