Great filament that will not disappoint
I purchased 8 rolls of the Comgrow PETG and have gone through 6 of them now. I am working on a large model and I use the PETG for the model and also for the tree supports. The filament works great now that I have all the settings dialed in. At first I had the flow set at 0.8 because that’s what the flow calibration test concluded it should be. But I was getting blobs, layer separation, stringing, and model failure. After second-guessing myself on everything from Temps to enclosure vs non-enclosure, cooling fans etc, I decided to reset the flow to 100%. Huge change, and now it prints great and leaves a nice smooth, shiny surface. I print this filament at 245C with a flow of 100% and a bed temp of 80C. Also, I am not having any issues with warping at all. First time ever for me with PETG. I’ve been 3D printing for over 4 yrs now and warping has always been a problem. Not with this stuff. Get all your Temps right and add plenty of support/brim. Am currently near the end of a 4 day print and all is good.

This filament is at least at the time of review, only 11 dollars for a kilo of petg, which is an amazing price. Id ignore the one review of the guy who got pla on accident. Yes they made a mistake and sent him pla, but he should have realized it was a mistake, and contacted the seller for a refund or replacement.Point is, this being a cheap petg, i have had a better experience with this stuff than i had with the creality brand cheap petg. I print mine at 260 C nozzle and 95 C plate. When I started I tried the settings i used with creality’s petg which I had to crank to 290 nozzle to avoid curling, until i realized that the comgrow filament is just plain better, so i lowered it to the aforementioned 260 C nozzle. The color is more consistent too in my experience. I’ve had no jams or serious printer issues. Im going to be a repeat customer of this filament as long as the price stays low. The one thing I will say about this filament, is it seems a bit more flexible than creality petg, however whether or not that’s a problem for you is based on whether you view flexibility as good or bad. Obviously bulk parts aren’t going to show flexibility but thin parts certainly will.

Great budget PETG filament
I have a Bambu Lab A1 with the AMS Mini which I absolutely love using. The Bambu filament is expensive compared to other filaments. But their spools have RFID so that you can just load the spool and the AMS automatically recognizes what’s on it. It’s super convenient when changing out spools.Rather than getting Bambu refills, I wanted a cheaper option, hence coming to the Comgrow filament. I printed a respooler and I just transfer the Comgrow filament to the Bambu spool and now the AMS Mini recognizes what’s on it.I find the the Comgrow filament works wonderfully for various projects with the generic presets for PETG, at half the cost of other brands. The PETG filament prints great. There is some stringiness left over after a print, but I suspect that that is my not fine tuning the temperature settings and just using the generic PETG settings. This particular color was just what I was looking for.

Extremely good and priced 3d filament
Honeslty great value for this filament I already bought 2 and planing on buying two more haha only gripe on why it’s 4 stars is because the QC or I guess the spooling machine they use tends to skip a wind or 2 this again is a hidden gem extremely great priced filament that is stronger then PLA but your still get the PLA price but back to the point at some point the spool will get to a point with it gets tangled mabye once per spool twice would be a rare occurrence but at some point your spool will tangle up but a little snip or weave of the issue and you back in business I use this for a lot test prints and for main prints in my Bambu labs A1

GREAT filament for my temperamental printer
in love with this filament! I have NOT EVER had 1 problem with it. All the prints come out perfect each and every time. That is saying a lot as my printer is very temperamental and loves to be wined and dined first before the printer will even work. Thank You Comgrow for NO stringing, perfect bed adhesion, great functionality and no clogging unless I forget to unload the printer. I dry my filament first so i have no brittleness just perfect sexy prints!

Seems a bit mediocre, but definitely not terrible for the price.
I print on a Bambu X1c and started off the the Generic PETG setting, adjusting nozzle and bed temps to match the specs. It printed ok… a bit of fine stringing and some uneven layer lines. On a whim before diving in to real testing, I tried the standard Bambu PETG filament preset and that took care of the stringing and it printed well enough. Still some layer lines here and there, so likely more tweaks possible to dial it in.In my opinion, this isn’t the kind of PETG you want to print decorative items with. It’s a very cold white, very shiny, and just strikes me as more of a utility plastic which… is kinda what PETG is so not worth taking off a star, but consider this might be the PETG you want to use outdoors or in the garage. And given the low cost, maybe that’s its ideal purpose.

EDIT: I’m updating this review as I’ve contacted the seller and received a replacement filament from them. The replacement filament so far has none of the issues the previous filament had (no air pockets and much more consistent diameter). I believe I can recommend this now without issues. If you get a bad roll simply contact the seller as they’re really trying to be helpful. Also note: photos are from my previous (negative) review, leaving them here for reference on what to look out forDecent price for a product like this, well-packed (vacuum seal, however didn’t last long, just a couple of weeks before air got into the bag – not a big deal I guess). No issues with extruder gripping the filament, no “dusting” of filament, no issues with filament breaking, inter-layer adhesion, snapping or anything like that. It hates 180 degrees but is happy with just about everything between 185 and 220 – I settled at 195.Sticks well to the bed (the photo is from before bed calibration, please don’t judge me).

(complete n00b to 3d printing) – using a Prusa Mk3s & only Prusa PLA. It was initially tricky to get calibrated & took a few goes to get the first layer calibrated. Printed almost a spool & all was OK – then started to get some lifting.Tried this & i’m not going back to Prusa PLA, its 1/2 the price and STICKS like no tomorrow on the first layer.Feels a little less flexible than prusa but overall i’m super happy with it.

This filament was wrapped well, very well – it’s application on the spool made filament management a non-issue. The filament itself bonds well between layers and the finish is nice. I;ll be re-ordering this product!

It’s PLA; nothing special but prints well and does what you would expect from the material. I didn’t experience any issues with moisture and the fillament is wound very well compared to spools I have received from other brands. Cardboard spool is a bonus.
