I got this for my two kids who are learning to jump rope, the quality is right on point & the colors are very vibrant and cute. It was a bit longer than expected but SUPER easy to adjust and retie. Overall we are happy with this purchase

Came much earlier than expected.
Got mine in the mail yesterday and it was just what I needed. I was using a 4 dollar jump rope from walmart and the thing just kept tangling no matter what I did and it would bounce on the floor making it catch on my legs. The beaded jump rope has neither of those issues, since the beads keep it from twisting and tangling, while also providing enough weight that they don’t bounce off the floor as I skip.There IS excess rope and the beads aren’t all along the rope for one very important reason; adjustment. I bought the 9ft one and tied up the ends to shrink it down so the handles reached my armpits (supposedly the proper length you need for your rope). I’m 5′ 7″ and at the most I could shorten it too it’s still too long for me, but I just fold the handle down over part of the rope to make it even easier to work with. So if you’re at my height or shorter you may want to give the 8ft rope a go instead.Bonus points for mine coming in a flamingo package. It has no bearing on how good the product is, I just really like flamingos and liked that little touch, intended or not.
