Very well designed and efficient
I wanted portable storage for my cross stitching projects and supplies. I didn’t want it to be too big or bulky (like a basket), or to scream CUTESY CRAFTS AND SEWING.Ideally, it would double as a purse for my wallet and phone (and lip balm, natch).And come in purple (of course).This bag checked all those boxes, and added more! I love the simple exterior design–it looks a lot like a messenger or laptop bag from the outside (and is purple, yay!). There is a nice-sized exterior slip pocket that easily holds my phone when I’m on the go. The shoulder strap is wide and very comfortable, and long enough to go cross-body is that’s your thing; but also it simply detaches if you’d rather use the handles–which are padded and comfortable to grip.The interior has lots of pockets, ranging in size large enough to hold pattern books or large hoops, to small enough to secure thread bobbins and embroidery scissors. But there aren’t TOO many pockets, which would cause me to lose things. It’s just the right number for me, and the placement of them makes sense in my brain.All the materials used seem to be of good quality (no catchy zippers or loosening threads or fraying edges). The bag is not designed to stand up by itself–it’s not rigid like a briefcase, and will flop over when set down. This is not a complaint for me, but an FYI for anyone who wants that feature.I really love this bag and am fully pleased with the purchase. Glad I didn’t settle for repurposing a bag I already had–this one is designed extremely well for its intended use.

Amazing Bag!
I’m a beginner at cross stitching, but I’m frequently dragging my project back and forth between my home and my niece’s place. I definitely needed something that would keep all the essentials together securely.I’m quite organized, and knew I wanted lots of pockets. And this has got plenty for your crafting bits and bobs. I had looked at others and was alarmed by how many use vinyl sheeting as the main material for the pockets. I know how poorly vinyl ages, and knew I didn’t want anything to do with it. This bag uses CLOTH. It’s not degrading anytime in the near future!I don’t use any hoops, so I can’t speak to that, but my current project is quite large, and this bag holds it nicely, along with the pattern, the full range of threads, my spool organizer, and all my needles, scissors, etc. And there’s still room for more!It’s feels substantial without being bulky, and looks like it’ll hold up well. I’m a guy, so I didn’t want anything that stood out too much, so I just got the grey. It looks nice, and has a very smart profile. The strap is huge! I’m very big, and the strap can extend far enough to fit crosswise around my neck and shoulder and still hangs a decent length down. And the cushioned shoulder pad is a nice added comfort.About the only thing I can say against it is that I wish the compartments for smaller crafting bits were full pouches instead of relying on elastic straps to help hold things in place. Bags get jostled, and those mini-pockets with elastic holders may not secure things well enough. But I guess that’s why the whole thing zips up.All in all, this bag is a winner. Especially for the price. I’d highly recommend it!

I was skeptical, but wow. I love this bag.
I was super disappointed when I received this bag. The interior felt thin and cheap. It seemed far too big for my small collection of embroidery supplies. I felt certain that I’d be returning it, but I needed something to hold my stuff, so I figured I’d use it while trying to find something better.Well, it’s been a few weeks, and my small collection has sort of exploded. The bag won me over. I have fully and completely changed my mind; you can pry this bag from my cold dead hands (and even then, I’ll haunt you forever).This bag handles everything with room to spare, and it’s all so easy to organize. Mostly, I use the front compartment–that’s where my needles, stitch rippers, scissors, fabric glue, and various other tools go. It all fits…and I still have room. The large compartment holds six hoops, a very large folded piece of linen, a floss organizer, a few embroidery sampler kits, a folder containing patterns and transfer paper, and a clip-on LED light. There’s still an ocean of space!I love that the zippers allow you to fully open the compartments and lay them flat out. I have had no problems with the zippers at all. (I’m kind of a bag/zipper snob. Once you’ve had YKK, it’s hard AF to go back to anything else, but these zippers are solid.)At $30, I thought this bag was expensive AF for what it was when I opened it at first but now, I realize it’s an absolute steal. This bag is fantastic. Buy it. Hate it when you see it empty, then fill it up, and you’ll probably love it as much as I do, lol.
