I see there are two options when placing an order: 7W and 12W. Which one should I buy? Is a higher wattage better?

It depends on your specific use case. Generally, the 7W option has a finer laser spot, making it ideal for detailed engraving. The 12W high-power option, however, has a thicker laser spot and is very suitable for cutting through thick materials.

What should I pay attention to when engraving reflective materials like metal, ceramic, and transparent acrylic?

Before engraving, first blacken the surface with a marker or black acrylic paint. This black coating absorbs laser light really well, so the final engraving turns out super clear. Once you’re done, just wipe the coating off!
