Yarn winder, perfect for what I needed
This yarn winder is a great value for the price. I used it to organize my large yarn stash and it worked perfect. I spent three days winding yarn and didn’t have any issues with the winder. You cannot wind the one pound skeins of yarn when using this winder but a regular skein fit fine. It attached easily to the table I was using and doesn’t take up much space.

Did not work!
No matter what we did this would only wind in one direction. There is no cross pattern and I wouldn’t recommend buying. I usually dont post reviews but feel as if it warrants a review. I am outside of my return date but that is fine you get what you pay for. I also was waiting for my oldest to come home to see if she could get it to work correctly. She came home and tried to mess with it for it to work and nothing, we tried left handed and right handed and nothing worked.(Edit) while trying to figure out why it may not be working, my husband and daughter took it apart. To find that it was broken on the inside. The gear is stripped and looks to have been returned at one point because the plastic where all the screws go was very dirty.

Easy to use, gets the job done
I was looking to find an easy to use yarn Winder and I found the perfect one. There’s no assembly required which was definitely a plus. I have attached a video so you can see the Simplicity of using this item. It looks pretty sturdy, I think it was a good purchase for the price. If you want something simple to use, practical and doesn’t take up much space, I totally recommend this product.

Arrived broken
I was so excited after a year of crocheting to finally get a yarn winder. After many failed attempts and googling, I found that the gear inside is not aligned properly. I’ve watched videos on how to fix it so I’m going to attempt that.This seems to be a common issue with these.I did give it 3 stars because the packaging was in good condition, and the machine itself looks to be what I wanted aside from my having to fix it.

uh.. this little thing is the best! I didn’t realize how much I needed this until I purchased it. I just got into yarn projects and this thing has saved my organization! I’m obsessed with making yarn cakes now haha. It’s also a great arm workout lols. Great price and so far its held up well and ive used it lots.

It does what I need! Getting the tension right takes some practice but once you figure it out there’s no issues at all. I have used the heck out of my winder over the course of several months now and it is still perfect. Nice even cakes, no clunky gears, the parts of the winder don’t fall apart or wiggle out of place. Good stuff.

Defective- Squeaks so loud! I returned it. Ordered another one. Same thing, squeaks really loud. Returned it again. Such a shame
