I did a lot of research before buying this probiotic supplement. My main goal was to lose weight. I am not disappointed with the results this probiotic has benefited me.I have lost 49 pounds since starting them in June 2025, taking one every morning (along with other supplements/vitamins). I’m planning on taking them as a daily supplement even as I near my goal weight to maintain gut health.The capsule is small & easy to swallow. No after taste, stomach issues or burping which I find some supplements to do.The price point on this probiotic is another reason I purchased them, definitely a value for your dollar.Bonus: I’m feeling good and have more energy since I’ve dropped the weight and feel better all around. Taking this probiotic isn’t a quick fix weight loss solution as it’s a gradual weight loss, losing between 2-4 pounds weekly, it works naturally which is what I wanted.I suggest you do your research before purchasing supplements to find the best for your body and wallet 😉

Works just like name brand for cheaper
I bought these as my name brand probiotics are just too expensive and these have been a great alternative. The are small and easy to swallow and work great at keeping my gut in check. These probiotic are great at helping mange my bloat and going regular. There also is no discernible taste when I have these which makes taking them daily not a chore.

Most articles about choosing whether or not to start taking a probiotic and selecting a particular product make it clear that each individual’s results may vary. I chose the Amazon Basics Probiotic 5 Billion CFU, 8 Probiotic strains with 60 mg Prebiotic Blend because the reviews were good, the product description aligned with my reason for trying a probiotic, and the pricing seemed reasonable.To begin, my doctor prescribed a new medication for me that has a known side-effect of slowing down the digestive tract a little bit. Although there are other medications that I could use to try to speed it back up a little, I realized that another approach would be to keep the biome active and healthy so that it might be easier break everything down and move it along.Pros: This seems to meet my needs. I’ve noticed a reduction in the sluggish bloated feeling that I had been experiencing, and that’s what I was really looking forward to.Cons: This is always mentioned as a consideration, but much of the bloat reduction seems to be expelled as flatulence.Being more than just a little bit, it’s enough to be a bit embarrassing and unpleasant. I’m no prude when it comes to gas, but I can barely sit or stand without squeaking one out lately. Similarly, whatever these new strains of bacteria are, they generate a putrid odor that has my family trying to banish me from my own home. I was hoping that this would go away after a week or two. After a month or so, I think the flatulence is getting worse, not better.I would still recommend this product, as the reduced bloat and regularity are worth the side effects.
