Extremely easy to use. Just turn it on & put it to your temple. It’s as accurate as any of my other thermometers have been. It takes less than 15 seconds (usually less than that.) The display is large and easy to read in any light, even without my glasses on.

Inconsistent readings
This thermometer didn’t function well in my experience. At first, it worked great, although I would have to hold it on the temple for what seemed like far too long, but then it started giving wildly different readings, for the same person just a minute apart. I tried new batteries, but I could never get it to give consistent readings.When you’re taking care of a sick loved one, it can be really important to know if they’re running a fever, so a reliable thermometer is essential. Unfortunately, I had to buy a different thermometer to replace this one.
