Accurate and Reliable
I purchased this product (Rechargeable Pulse Oximeter) because my loved one suffered a stroke and ultimately required a trach and continuous oxygen. I care for him 24/7 at home and this continuous oxygen saturation monitor is able to be set to alarm at his prescribed threshold low O2 sat level and it also alarms for the heart rate high/low as set by user. This enables me to sleep with peace of mind. I am a registered nurse and I would endorse this product! Additionally, customer service has been extremely responsive the two times I have contacted them. I broke the USB wall plug so I e-mailed the company info@cmihealth.com late last evening and early this morning, I already received a call and they are shipping me a new cord today, 100% free of charge. I could not be more pleased with this product or with the customer service rep, Gideon. Highly recommend!

Continuous monitoring all night – easy to set alarm level
Purchased about two years ago. I have sleep apnea (and apparently apnea induced AFib) and use the device periodically to check oxygen level fluctuations throughout the night. I generally set my alarm level at 85% and download the data the next morning to my laptop (reviewers have complained about the software download but there seems to have been an upgrade on the software because I didn’t get non-stop virus warnings with the download when I installed it on my new laptop). The instructions are not very clear (the typical language issues we have all come to expect with products manufactured in some countries) so the software requires some trial and error to generate the report. It does generate a very thorough report and my pulmonologist and general practice Doc were both complimentary. One of those reports recently triggered another sleep study and ultimately resulted in an increase in my CPAP pressure. I can’t comment on accuracy because I have no way to calibrate the device and I don’t want to trust a $10, shirt pocket model to validate accuracy on the CMI device. As I recall, there are a number of reviews on Amazon by medical professionals that attest to the device’s accuracy (I read a lot of reviews before I pulled the trigger on this $180 or so purchase!). My spouse is an RN and she has also been pleased with the purchase as well and she now uses it occasionally. In fact, her physician looked at one of her recent reports and has ordered a sleep study for her. No regrets about the purchase whatsoever!

A really accurate intuitive dependable oximeter, has already paid for itself!
A really accurate intuitive dependable oximeter. High quality sensors and cabling. Stable software & easy to read display. While recovering from a post COVID lung issue, it is a huge comfort to be monitored day & night. The adjustable O2/heart rate alarms will immediately wake you upon any trouble. Accuracy is very good matching display of other monitors. Excellent customer service when ordering a few “just-in-case” spare items. Have used battery a few times for 5-7 hours with no problem. The monitor case quality is appropriate for being an overseas import and having a good price point. Thankful to have and would recommend to others.

Excellent Oximeter
The CMI oximeter is very good for diagnosing overnight low oxygen levels resulting from sleep apnea. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that the battery life is marginal. It nearly fully discharges in an 8 hour overnight session. The display is great and easily readable. The software for reviewing and overnight measurement is very very good and easy to learn. The unit comes with a nice hard cover carrying case. It also comes with 2 probes, one good for daytime use and a rubber one for overnight use.

Total lifesaver.
It saved my life. The analog portion of the display, though without numeric indications, indicated *SERIOUS* Cardiac pumping issues. That, coupled with a heart rate about 60% of normal and blood oxygen saturation @ 99% – I was breathing harder than normal – told me I had a big problem.I threw on some clothes and went to the E.R. post haste via the bus. (Was too scared to call 911 and I needed to go to a specific hospital due to various reasons.)Turns out I had a heart attack without coronary artery obstruction.

No mute and limited recording, over priced
Ultimately it does what it states, overnight recording of pulse/ox levels.Down side is it has very limited memory and can only take one reading every 8 seconds if you record over night. Also, you cannot completely turn off the sound. You can mute it when it starts but if the sensor falls off or loses connection, it starts beeping again. There is another product that is just the standard sensor size that records all night with no sound for under $100, but it requires 2 AAA batteries, and they only last a few nights, and the sensor doesn’t stay on well overnight.I thought at this price I would be getting a better product.

PC software does NOT work with Windows 11
Four days of going back and forth with customer service and I had to return this item because the software download does NOT work with Windows 11 as stated in the description. I even ran it in Windows 7 and Windows 8 compatibility modes and it does not work. I can create the patient files but the tables crash when archiving the data to the patient file or the data does not transfer at all. There is no way to show doctors trends with software that won’t work properly. I have ordered a device from another company that will arrive tomorrow and this product is going directly into that packaging to return to CMI. The device itself works great but I am so disappointed with the software and the lack of understanding about the problem when communicating with customer service.
