Tough and durable. Can be a little tricky because of the high temperatures needed.
This is a decent brand that I’ve used before in PETG. I use ABS filament for when I need something very tough. ABS is one of the harder and more durable filaments available. It’s the same kind of plastic that’s used in making hard car parts. It has some drawbacks like brittleness, but it’s also much tougher, though less forgiving than PLA.This filament seems to be about a middle-of-the-road ABS formula compared to others out there. I don’t use ABS that much because it’s one of the hardest to work with and you really need some ventilation because it releases more fumes due to the higher temperatures needed to melt it enough to get the flow correct. It makes decent prints after getting the temperature calibrated. I had a failure once and had to adjust the fan settings nearer the upper levels. I was using a ventilation inside an enclosure and it caused the temperatures to fluctuate. Also, the print itself had some sharp corners that caused some problems with adhesion. But the prints eventually worked and I got some really rugged gears out of them. I actually picked the bright orange for its contrast with the black ABS I used.Overall, I’d recommend this with the usual suggestions to dial in your calibration every time you make a new print with this filament. Don’t just use the settings from your slicer. I’ve had a large range of differences from the more unforgiving materials, of which this is one of the worst. Also, I would only recommend using ABS when you really really need durable and tough parts. Otherwise PLA works for almost everything else you might need if you’re printing at home.It flowed well for me setting the temperature to 271° with a thicker infill and a slow print speed of about 100mm/s.Overall, it’s a decent mid-range, lower cost ABS, but it works. Five star.

    Decent ABS choice
As far as ABS goes it is a decent choice. Color is nice, it prints just fine but I did have to dry it a little right out the bag, there was visible moisture in the bag itself. When dried there was zero stringing, it was not brittle at all and was easy to print and use

Lower Odor than other ABS filaments I have used.
As with other ABS filaments I have used, there is some tendency for larger prints to pull away from the print bed at the corners and ends, but it seemed to be less so than many of the others I have tried. A heated chamber definitely helps to alleviate this issue and with good bed preparation it can be mostly mitigated. Although I wouldn’t go as far as to call it odorless, the smell was far less strong than other ABS filaments I have used, and even though I wouldn’t want to sit in the same room with it without good ventilation, I didn’t feel like I needed to have a hazmat team come in after printing with it. The color (orange) was very well pigmented and even throughout the spool and prints looked a little bit satin and not glossy the way something like PETG normally does. Layers stacked very nicely and left very clean looking layers lines that weren’t highly noticeable. I didn’t have any issues with stringing, or bubbling and the filament performed well without any indication of dampness.Packaging for the filaments was excellent, with the spool vacuum packed and packaged with a desiccant as is the standard these days. Although vacuum packaging is the norm now, it is not infrequent that I receive filament that the package seal is either broken, or the filament was vacuum sealed wet causing the filament to need drying right out of the package. Fortunately, that wasn’t the case here and it performed well without the need for drying.I use a Bambu P1S with an AMS, and I really appreciate that this filament comes on a plastic spool, that’s made even better by the fact that it is reusable. A far better way to be eco friendly in opinion than a cardboard spool that doesn’t perform well in the AMS. The filament was wound neatly on the spool and I experienced no tangling. Really the only complaint that I have is the price, which I found to be considerably higher than many other brands of ABS. Still it worked well and I found the quality to be very good and the odor to be less than with other ABS filaments I have used and that alone might justify the additional cost for me. Overall, a very good ABS filament that’s easy to recommend.

    Impressive strength
I wasn’t familiar with this brand going into it, but I will definitely consider other products from them in future.I’ve done a few prints with the filament so far. The first three were just small clips for some spools while the fourth was a bag hanger. Everything printed well without any clogging, serious stringing, or sticking to the bed. The prints retained the vibrant orange color after printing as expected. The bag hanger I printed is really strong as you’d expect from ABS. The bag that’s hanging from the hook weighs about 10 lbs with everything that’s in it and there isn’t any flex in the hook. Functionality-wise, ABS and the hook are a great combination and I’ll probably print more.

    Great prints after learning curve.
s was my first time printing with ABS and let me just say, it was a bit like taking a toddler to the park. If you do not adjust your settings, it will throw a tantrum and turn into a big blob that looks nothing like what you wanted. Once I gave it the right temperature and print settings, it behaved much better and started making prints that actually looked sharp and solid. You can definitely smell it more than PLA, but I was expecting it to be way worse, so that was a pleasant surprise. The color is bold and bright, so if you want your prints to look like they just ran off the set of a Nickelodeon show, this orange ABS will do the trick.Overall, if you are new to ABS, just take a deep breath, adjust your slicer, and be ready for a little trial and error. Once you tame it, this filament prints strong, smooth, and without stringing. Just do not forget your settings, unless you like collecting plastic blobs as modern art.

This is a really good and reliable filament, that is also affordable.I got a roll of ABS Black and had no issue using it in my Bambu P1S. It is recommended that you print ABS in a closed system for better results.I haven’t used the full roll yet, but so far my prints have came up nicely with the generic ABS profile in Bambu Studio. If you can, I’d give this filament a try, as it presents a nice affordable price to performance ratio.`I’ll leave a photo of a recent print I did for the game Exploding Kittens.
