Reliable transfer tape for precise vinyl projects
I purchased the YRYM HT Clear Vinyl Transfer Tape Roll to use with adhesive vinyl for decals, signs, and stickers, and I’ve been very pleased with how well it works. One of the best features is the balance of stickiness—it’s tacky enough to lift designs cleanly from the backing, but not so sticky that it makes applying the vinyl difficult or risks tearing the project.The clear vinyl is helpful for aligning designs accurately, especially with the included grid application markings. This makes it easy to place decals, signs, or stickers exactly where I want them, even on windows or smooth surfaces where precise placement is important. Got about 50 transfers from one piece, Impressed so far
UPDATE: 2025 The transfer tape is still good mostly, just the thin backing they switched to makes it difficult to peel to use. The older thick backing paper was much better. 5* to 4*So far so good. Last for quite a while if you want it to. Just finished a small batch of vinyl on vinyl stickers. At first the adhesive is a bit tacky, but after a few transfers it releases the vinyl with minimal effort. Sometimes it lifts the bottom layer of vinyl off the carrier sheet but nothing anyone cant handle when layering. At a quick glance through the Q&A and some reviews ive seen people use it 3-4 times and one i think i saw use it 20 times max……Well i’m already on my 50th transfer with the same peice of tape!!!!! Keep in mind I did say it will last if you want it to. Around 30ish is lost some tack, at about 40 its tack was almost gone so I had to burnish it on the vinyl a little more than usual. At 50 it still has some life left but i think this may be the limit but who knows. Also might of lost some tackieness from the my fingers constantly touching the adhesive when positioning the design. Overall great transfer tape. Depending on how much you squeegee over it the lines start to rub off but nothing serious. It lays flat once its off the backing but the backing tends to curl back up as if its still on the roll so saving the tape isnt all too hard. I am using Oracal 651 and a house brand vinyl from my local print supply shop.

The item I wanted to put my vinyl on did not work, but after I created the design I used this transfer paper and it picked the design up right away. I was trying to make a saying for our BRUTE Garbage Cans but the vinyl would not stick to it no matter what I did. But that has nothing to do with this product.This was easy to adhere to my design and lift it off the Cricut paper, I have not removed it yet as I wanted to save the design to place on a sing I am making. But I am sure it will transfer just fine. The best thing is, you get a lot of it, that will last me a good long time.

Ordered twice. I really like this transfer tape. The grid lines are a nice touch but I mostly like thats its red.Only con is that the adhesive does stick to my car. Easy to clean but tedious.

This is great transfer tape! I use this for making vinyl stickers with my cricut, I definitely prefer it over the cricut brand transfer tape. This roll is huge and lasts a long time – this is my second one and my first last me almost 2 years! This one does feel a little thinner than my last roll though, so I assume it’s been made a little different now, but it still works just as good!
