You will not regret buying this
I bought this not really knowing anything about winders, but just knowing I needed one. I waited 15 years to get one, but after being tired of winding yarn on my own, I decided to finally get one. It has changed my life! Not only is it easy to use, but I love just the way it operates. It’s powerful and saves so much time. The value is extraordinary. Do not hesitate for a moment to buy one. It has become one of my most prized possessions.

Yarn winder
It works real good. I like it. Cause it makes larger balls from the skein

Decent little machine
This yarn winder is exceptional! It makes quick work winding yarn. A few points to note:1. Tension- this winder likes to stop on ANY little tension. Make sure your yarn has a clear line to the machine and is not snagging on anything. If it senses even a little friction, the machine will stop winding. It is VERY touchy. Aside from this it works great!2. Yarn jumping- sometimes the yarn will wind to the top of the bobbin. If it does this just be sure to undo and redo it. Watch the machine as it likes to jump often.3. Noise level- the noise level is minimal however it does make noise so keep this in mind.Overall for the money I’d say if you can find one that has a stronger motor for slightly more you may be better off but this will get the job done.

Don’t waste your money!!
DO NOT BUY!! Don’t waste your money!! This winder is junk. The motor is not strong enough so it continuously stops for no reason. I consistently have to turn it off and on. The motor is extremely loud!!

Nice, neat cakes
Love it! Runs smoothly as long as the yarn doesn’t bunch up. Easy to work, makes nice, neat cakes! Game changer!

Decent, but a couple things to keep in mind.
The winder arrived quick and fully in tact. Packaging was well done. I assembled it with ease and was able to start winding some of my left over yarn immediately. I picked this item because it specified it could handle up to 13 oz of yarn and a wide variety of yarn. I first tried to cake my chenille bernat blanket yarn. It did this without an issue. I then tried a thinner weight 3 yarn that I bought for a shawl project. It had a bit of hard time winding this yarn in a neat cake. I had to learn to adjust the tensions and still struggled with the yarn slipping and bunching at the top or bottom of the cake. I tried on the highest setting and the lowest setting, it caked the thin yarn alright on the lowest setting and tightest tension but still there was a bit of bunching. So far the motor is okay, it’s not as powerful as I would like, but it gets the job done and is fairly quiet. I do want to preface that I am not using a yarn swift at this time. I may have to purchase a hand winder for the smaller / thinner yarns. Overall the product is sturdy and gets the job done without me having to sit and worry about it, which is the main reason I purchased it as I make a lot of plushies. I do however want to state that the product advertises that it can wind 13 oz. I tested this by having a full skein of bernat blanket wound in one go. Bernat blanket yarn comes in a 10.5 oz skein. It handled about 10 ounces okay, but the remaining .5 had to be sounder separately as when it got to the 10 oz mark it started wrapping under the machine and that is a hazard according to the instructions / user guide. Would I say it was worth the money? Yes. Since I paid a slightly cheaper price with a coupon i would say it was work the $35 I spent. But I may have to upgrade in the future. I find it suits my needs for now and is sufficient. The item itself is well crafted and easy to use. The winding does a good job; it can just be finicky. I hope this helps if you’re interested in purchasing this item!

Great Yarn Ball Maker
I love this machine, the color of it is more pink in person than purple, the quality of the machine seems high quality, the value I got for my money was worth it, I did chuckle that there were 2 different listings of this item one was $10 more even though it was the same item, It works really well on winding yarn into yarn balls as long as you watch it, and make sure it doesn’t do anything weird, It did a really good job winding up all my yarn, and I’ll be only getting this out to wind up new yarn, it is a little bulky to leave out unless you have a craft room for all of your items.

WILL UPDATE IF SOMETHING CHANGES
First impression:After assembling the yarn Winder I noticed that the tensioner rod and the yarn shaft itself were quite close. I even said to myself that I didn’t think it was going to fit an entire skein of bernet blanket. Assembling it was relatively easy I got a half of a skein of Bernet blanket that I needed to wind up so I put it on and started winding and the first thing I noticed was how loud it was. It also has a very loud squeak as it rotates. It is definitely not as fast as my other electric yarn Winder either. The yarn needs to be pulled from the original skein so it’s completely loose or it will not rotate. I wish my Caydo was able to accommodate my larger skeins or I would be sending this back. I have to finesse it too much while winding. I might as well have bought a manual one. It also does not fit what it claims it can handle either. Im going to try another couple skeins and if it doesn’t get better I’m sending it back.

Very easy to assemble and instructions on attached pamphlet are clear. I did not scan the QR code on pamphlet, I didn’t encounter any problems. My first time using this product, so far its pretty good

it makes nice cakes, but i’ve used it fewer than ten times and it’s already SO squeaky (see video.) it also doesn’t latch onto my desk very well due to the placement/length of the inserted bar, and it stops rolling at the SLIGHTEST hint of tension or resistance from the skein. overall i expected much higher quality for the price i paid.
