This yarn box is gorgeous! Carved from beautiful acacia wood, it has a lovely swirl design that feeds the yarn smoothly without any snagging. The inside is perfectly polished, and the craftsmanship is just stunning — even when I’m not using it, it looks like a piece of art on my table.I love that it has holes on both sides so I can pull from multiple balls of yarn at once. The wooden lid is such a thoughtful touch — it protects the yarn from dust or spills, and it even has a phone slot so I can watch videos while I knit or crochet! The nonslip feet on the bottom keep it steady, too.As a bonus, it came with matching metal crochet hooks with wooden handles — super cute and comfortable to use! Exquisite!Lovely acacia wood is smooth and luxurious. Aesthetically designed curves and holes. Distinctive wood-carved handles on the crochet hooks. Pleasing stitch marker colors. Easy-thread large hole yarn needles come safely and neatly stored in a clear cylinder so you can see what you’re looking for.The inner compartment stores one 280g-sized store-wrapped yarn spool, and perhaps 3 of my hand-rolled balls of boucle yarn (my video shows how much room one, partially used, ball of boucle takes up).This would make a lovely gift for yourself or loved ones, be they aspiring knitters/crocheters or seasoned pros who would delight in a new toy.4 stars because the groove for the very clever phone holder is too narrow for my iPhone – I can’t use it to follow along with videos on. My iPhone 13 has a very narrow and practical Otter case that doesn’t add much width. The phone width, including the narrow, life-saving case, is 1/4″ wide in total, far too wide for the phone holder groove. My husband’s iPhone 7 does not fit either. There’s no way I’d ever take the phone out of the case to put it in the holder, as it could very easily be knocked off and plummet to the ground. With my phone case, my phone has survived falls from 6 feet onto concrete. No way I’d ever take it off! I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t have a case on their phone, so I’m not sure why the case wasn’t taken into account. I wonder if perhaps the black glued-on strip inside the groove was an afterthought that now blocks phone insertion?

Not practical for knitters on the go, or those with large balls
Returned. My large balls of yarn that I’m using for a baby blanket won’t fit. Also, my folding phone doesn’t fit in the slot.

Handy wood yarn bowl with accessories
Dual sided wooden yarn bowl box — lid recessed to hold a cell phone or directions. You can use two colors of yarn – one each side for convenience. Includes an assortment of stitch counter markers and crochet hooks. Medium colored Acadia wood box, nicely finished and smooth, lightweight but weighty enough to hold yarn in place as you pull on it to stitch. Good sized and will easily hold two good sized skeins or one mid weight large one-pound skein.

Beautiful Acacia Wood
This yarn bowl is by far my favorite. The extra holes to seperate skeins is so helpful when I’m working with more then 1 color, ball of yarn. The crochet hooks are really nice and have excellent feel to them. My fingers and hands weren’t irritated when using. I love the lid on the bowl and I am custom engraving the top. This is a super nice Acacia wood bowl with rubber feet that will last generations. Great value and I highly recommend.
