Love the cat design of this yarn bowl! Super cute and functional too!
I think this cat yarn bowl is so super cute! The wood appears to be a good quality and the finish is nice. I love that it has the cat face cut out and that the tail area is where the yarn runs through. There is a large smooth spiral yard guide where the cat’s tail would be. And, there’s two additional holes so you can use it with multiple skeins. I think it’s a great add to my crochet collection of tools.I measured the width of the bowl and while the listing states that it’s 7.5” wide, I found it to be 7” wide. I put a size 6 super bulky chenille 112 yard skein in it and it appeared to be too large for the bowl, so I didn’t think it would turn well when used. But, smaller sizes will be fine in it. What a cute find! Love it!

Keeps the mess away
So adorable! Ironically, this little cat bowl keeps my yarn away from my real cat. I’ve been crocheting a few key chains, and I’ve actually really liked the way this has kept me organized, particularly when I switch projects midway. I like that I can keep the hook, scissors, yarn, and potential accessories, ie chain, o-ring, in one container that’s always hobby-ready. Plus, the wooden bowl is a lovely item that looks really nice on the countertop, so even though I am a messy crocheter, it doesn’t look like it. The bowl initially had a weird dust powder on it, but I just wiped it off, so I didn’t find it to be a huge issue. This would make a great gift for any cat loving fiber artists.

I’m really happy with this Wooden Cat Yarn Bowl. The quality is great overall. The wood is nicely finished and smooth, though there are a couple of slightly rough edges. Nothing sharp or problematic, just something to note. It feels solid and well-made.The size is generous and easily holds most yarn weights, including larger skeins. I love that I don’t have to worry about the yarn jumping out or getting tangled. The cat design is cute and tasteful, adding a nice touch of personality without being too much.It doesn’t have a non-slip bottom, which it doesn’t claim to have, so that wasn’t unexpected. It stays put fairly well on most surfaces, but I sometimes use a small mat underneath for extra stability.Overall, this bowl strikes a great balance of function, quality, and charm. It’s a lovely addition to my crafting space and I’d definitely recommend it to any fellow yarn lover.
