Good Product! Buy it. You Won’t Be Able to Live Without It.
Sometimes photosensitive resins/ adhesives feel like one of mankind’s greatest innovations. “It’s broken, I glued it, played with a black light, and I’m done! No tape, not clamps. Moving on, What’s for dinner??”This product works well and seems to have substantial bond strength based on my applications, not any formal testing. Using the provided UV light at 2″ away, I’d say that a layer approx. 1/32″-1/16” thick cures in about 5sec. Full hard. It’s fast enough that if the light passes across it while trying to get the parts or your grip situated the resin will skin slightly. I’ve found that I wish it had a slightly higher viscosity because it runs to places you don’t want quickly.The UV flashlight exceeded my expectations: It’s 100% metal, nice silicone capped button with nice tactility, lasts a while, and most importantly it is brighter than expected.For a UV curing adhesive, I’d say you get a generous amount for the price. You can fill in gaps which is convenient, or when appropriate use it to tack pieces together which require a different adhesive with a longer cure time rather than struggle with tape and that whole circus act REMEMBER, this cures with light, so if you’re gluing two opaque pieces together with a tight bond line where it’ll be in the middle, e.g. a Butt Joint, then it will not cure and a different adhesive is required.

Excellent quality!I used this to make a memorial ring , the kit includes high quality resin, a light that works wonderfully along with a charger , a mat and gloves. Dries extremely fast! My hand was a tad big and I just added some to the inside of the band on the mat provided and it worked wonderfully. I would definitely buy again!

I bought this a while back because I’d never heard of UV Resin before and it sound interesting. Recently I had to make a custom cable for a project I was working on. Usually when I have to solder a couple of wires together I use heat shrink tubing over the solder joint to prevent shorts to anything nearby. This time, however, the cable was not just two wires but three in a “T” configuration so heat shrink wouldn’t work. My first attempt used liquid electrical tape which turned out to be a complete mess and I had to scrap that attempt. Then I remembered the UV Resin and decided to try that instead. Not only did it work perfectly but it made for a more professional appearance as well. I’ve now used it for several different applications and it worked perfectly for all of them. My latest usage involved a Raspberry Pi SBC where the cover over the MicroSD card holder had come loose. At first I tried to solder it back on but that simply pulled the copper pads off the back of the board. Then I tried the UV resin and it looks like it will never come off again. Unlike epoxy, there’s no mixing and I don’t end up wasting the epoxy I mixed up but didn’t need to use. Highly recommended.
