I purchased this resin as a last resort because I tried purchasing my regular brand twice and both times the order didn’t ship for 10+ days. I was running out of resin and had orders to fill. I was so impressed with the quality of the domes, the crystal clear quality of the resin, and the smoothness of the finish that I immediately purchased more. It peels off the tape I use for filling bezels much cleaner than my previous go-to brand, and doesn’t stink nearly as badly. I’m excited to see how it performs going forward.The weird shape of the bottle and how slick the plastic is makes it a little awkward to hold but that’s not an actual problem, just something I thought I would mention in case anyone reading this review has issues with things like grip strength or dexterity.

I wanted to get back into making resin, but I wanted a low smelling product that didn’t cause too much mess. This is my first time using one-part UV resin. And I love it.A few tips:UV resin cures differently from 2-part resin. This resin needs to be poured into translucent or transparent silicone molds. The reason is that the curing light needs to permeate the UV resin. If the mold is opaque, the UV light cannot reach those portions of the mold and it will not cure properly.Usually, UV resin cures in about 1-2 minutes up to maybe 5 minutes for slightly thicker molds. Once you have cured the top, turn the molds over and cure again for about 1-2 minutes. Let cool completely before unmolding. I find that 60-120 seconds is enough time for molds like Christmas ornaments, jewelry pendants, etc. to cure. For smaller pieces like earrings, which are not very thick, I cure in 30-second increments.Colors: So far, I have tried glitter, mica powder, chrome powder, metallics, acrylic paint, enamel paint, and both traditional and gel nail polish. The main thing you need to remember is less is more. ONE drop of paint or polish will give a rich color. Too much will result in the resin not curing because the UV light can’t penetrate through the color.Use molds that are not too deep. If you have to use a deep mold use this resin in layers. If you use a deep mold that holds a lot of resin and you pour it all at once, it will not cure. If I am doing layers I will cure the layers for about 30-40 seconds before pouring the next layer.Clean your tools by placing them under the UV light so the residual resin can cure. If you are using silicone tools, the resin peels right off.As I said in the description, do not be fooled by the picture. They kind of remind me of gas canisters, but they’re about as big as one of those maple syrup jugs, but square-shaped. If you have a lot of resin casting to do, make sure you get plenty.

J’ai été très satisfaite de cette résine UV ! Elle est parfaitement transparente, sans bulles, et durcit très rapidement sous lampe UV. Le rendu est lisse et brillant, idéal pour mes créations en bijoux, moulages ou décoration.Le flacon est pratique avec son embout fin, ce qui permet un dosage précis et propre. L’odeur est très légère, ce qui est appréciable comparé à d’autres résines.Excellent rapport qualité/prix, je recommande vivement pour les amateurs de DIY comme pour les plus expérimentés !

Ich habe mir dieses Bastelkunstharz als Kleber Alternative gekauft.Wer kennt es nicht, man will kurz etwas mit Sekundenkleber kleben und entweder hält es nicht vernünftig, der Kleber trocknet nicht ab oder ist schon wieder in der Dose eingetrocknet.Auf der Suche nach alternativen bin ich auf Epoxidharz gestoßen und somit auf diesen Bastelkleber und die Idee war schnell gefasst, warum nicht diesen UV aushärtenden Kunstharz als Klebstoff alternative nutzen?!Schnell mal umgeschaut und festgestellt dass es auch UV aushärtende Sekundenkleber gibt.Da ich annehme dass es exakt die gleiche Rezeptur wie normales uv-aushärtendes Kunstharz ist, habe ich mich für dieses Produkt entschieden. Es ist um ein vielfaches günstiger als die als uv-sekundenkleber angepriesenen Produkte.Praxistest:Zwischenzeitlich habe ich schon etliche Dinge mit diesem Kunstharz repariert und ich muss sagen ich liebe es!Beim normalen zusammenkleben ist der Vorteil dass man die Bauteile beliebig lang justieren kann, erst wenn man mit der UV-Lampe oder Sonnenlicht in Berührung kommt härtet das Kunstharz aus.Natürlich muss man darauf achten, das Licht die Möglichkeit hat das Kunstharz zu erreichen, großflächige Klebungen von zwei flachen Seiten aufeinander dürften daher schwierig sein, wenn vollflächig verklebt werden soll und nicht nur an den Kanten… insofern es sich bei dem zu verklebende Materialien nicht um durchsichtige plexige Glasscheiben oder ähnliches handelt.Ein weiterer großer Vorteil ist, dass man mit dem Kunstharz fehlendes Material auffüllen kann, indem man Schicht für Schicht das Bauteil remoduliert. Beispiel: wenn bei einem plastikbauteil Teile ausgebrochen sind, legt man es flach auf eine Alufolie fügt es zusammen und füllt die Lücke einfach komplett mit dem Kunstharz aus.Für mich ist dieser Kunstharz optimal, da man im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis viel Kunstharz erhält das(wenn man es für klebezwecke benutzt) sehr sehr lange halten wird.Auf dem beigefügten Bild habe ich eine Elektro-Fliegenklatsche repariert, die am Griff komplett gebrochen war. Jetzt ist sie dort stabiler als zuvor, da ich das Kunstharz großzügig aufgehangen und somit die Bruchstelle noch verstärkt habe.
