Great Resin!
Extremely impressed!This stuff is some of the least expensive out there, and works great! Prints come out perfectly and clean. I even forgot I hadn’t cured some recent prints yet because they were so clean post washing and dry.Love this brand!

Cheap and Reliable.
Cheap and reliable resin, packaged very well. Once my machine was calibrated for this, I found the prints to have very crisp details, supports were easy to remove. I love the translucent. I alternate between blue and red, and I found that I can just mix the colors when one runs out without losing any print quality. I have also found that this material, when cured, responds very well to Dremel cutters. I did recently try the 2kg packaging, and I think I prefer the 1kg for ease of use. But price will ultimately decide what I order next. Also, I have had success adding small amounts of clear tough resins to improve the durability of my prints. But this has not been necessary for the tabletop miniatures I print.

Amazing resin that works for highly detailed projects.
I use this for all my 3d printed statues and cosplay props. Its rigid but not brittle. So it works perfectly for statues. The price point for how this stuff prints is amazing. Im able to use the same printer profiles across all sunlu resins that ive tried, which is a huge time saver.

This resin is a great deal for the amount you get. The price gets even better when you buy in bulk, but even a single bottle is worth it. It was a perfect starter sample — enough for about two full prints, depending on the size of your machine.If you’re just getting into resin printing or want to test out a new brand without committing to a large quantity, this is an excellent choice.

ODOR:Much better experience with this one. With the Comgrow, I could smell it once I started going upstairs to my 3D printer room. SUNLU has a very low odor, something similar to Phrozen or Siraya Tech. Every resin has a smell, and this one is lower on the spectrum of being too much. 7/10STATSDensity- 1.11-1.15g/cm3Bending Strength- 40- 60MpaViscosity- 100-300cpsTensile Strength- 30-50MpaHardness- 72-88DShelf Life- Not GivenElongation- 10.002 +/- 10%Body Shrinkage- 3-5%Wavelength- 405 UV LightPrintabilityOkay, the color is closer to a white than grey, until you cure it, then it’s closer to grey, but still whiter than most greys I’ve used. Once this resin was dialed in with the Cones, I was down to a 1.75 second per layer cure time. After printing some models, this was adjusted to a 1.8 seconds per layer just to make sure there was enough strength between layers to prevent any separations between layers. Details are crisp and clear. Supports slip off like a dream. 9/10Curing TimeFor our testing, 8-9 minutes was our standard curing time in our Anycubic Wash & Cure Plus. After curing, the resin appeared and felt solid as if the model was cast in plastic. Smooth as butter. 9/10Dimensional Accuracy and ShrinkageFor this part, we ran the new RP tester from Phrozen. I was shocked to see that everything printed, even the tiny little hairs, though, if you have meat hooks like mine and aren’t careful, you’ll snap these off, which do so, so cleanly, you’ll think they didn’t print at all.Dimensional Accuracy before printing was spot on when measuring with calipers. Shrinkage was well within my specifications. Larger posts on the RP tester seemed unaffected, while smaller posts were accurate within 0.03mm. 9/10FINAL THOUGHTSThis really surprised us. Going into these tests, I was hopeful, but was more than willing to just let the resins speak for themselves. This one is above and beyond way better than the Comgrow resin. Low odor, no dyes that dye your IPA, Shrinkage that tests better than some of the more expensive options out there, and a cost that doesn’t break the bank. They seem to have a bundle deal on their website that pushes the cost down further. If you order 5 bottles, it’s $99, which takes the cost down to $19.80/bottle.What I ordered from Amazon appeared to be a round bottle. What I got was closer to a flat bottle akin to an oil bottle. This was fine and reduced the form factor on my shelf. Curious though, did Amazon send me the right bottle?A damn fine alternative to more expensive options. 8/10

Expect trial-and-error; very thick but fun when you figure it out A few tips below…
Okay, I’m not a 3D resin printer expert but I did get this to work after a bit of trial and error and would like to offer a few points for consideration:(a) This is a thick resin. When starting a print, the motor and gear couldn’t push the resin fast enough.Therefore, it seems to like to be a bit on the warm side to make it a little runnier.If that does not help, what did work 100% of the time is to use the front panel and sink the build plate into the vat and then start the print. That way it didn’t have to push around so much material and printing started perfectly every time.(b) Be careful of void that generate suction. I got into the habit of putting in supports even with not needed to eliminate the suction.(c) Solid forms are still hard and of course, use more resin. Hollowing out will give large forms the soft feel. How thick depends on what you are attempting to achieve, but I just offer this as a note so that you can start experimented from the start.I have not been successful in creating a gadget for an enclosure. I’m still trying to figure out out make those work well.Anyhow, do expect some serious trial-and-error but when you get dialed in, the results are pretty neat.BT recommended if you like to experiment

I keep this resin in stock always, use it to make very detailed anime figures. It’s a nice color to be painted over. Allows for fantastic print quality and any texture. Very durable once printed!

I’ve tried out the “Standard” variant, and while it’s not my primary choice (I typically prefer ABS-like), I’ve been pleasantly surprised by its durability in comparison to other standard resins available. This aspect solidifies SUNLU as a dependable brand that offers an attractive blend of affordability and quality control. Moreover, it’s worth noting that the resin manages to maintain excellent detail in the prints. I’ve also found that it cleans up nicely without leaving any sticky residue from the cleaning process using the isopropyl alcohol

Es wirkt, als hätte ich etwas aus Wachs geschnitzt.Das SUNLU Harz ist super und kann mit dem Halot Mage 8K problemlos gedruckt werden.Einziger Minuspunkt und warum ich es außerhalb des Tests nicht kaufen würde: Es ist nicht mit Wasser abwaschbar. Aber das ist meine persönliche Referenz.
