Just what I needed! THE only accurate wrist monitor I have found!
I have tried other wrist monitors but none of them, until this one, have been accurate. My doctor even said “there are no wrist monitors” that she would recommend. But, I recently tried my dad’s Omron & it was spot on so I ordered this one & it matches up perfectly with my cuff that has been tested at the clinic against their monitors.My blood pressure varies so much, my doctor wants me to take it frequently but it isn’t do-able with my cuff. I am SO glad I found this. Now I can take it on the go, first thing in the morning & whenever I feel weird as my doctor is constantly adjusting my meds to find the perfect fit. I was able to print out my results for her & she was thrilled to have the records.The only slight issue is that on the display in the app, the numbers overlap & make them hard to read sometimes but it isn’t a big deal as I can see it on the monitor just fine. It is just an app issue.I am so glad I didn’t give up, I purchased other wrist monitors that were awful & returned them. This one is SO portable & so easy, it isn’t a huge ordeal to use it so I use it all the time!

Accurate & Easy To Use
Accurate readings. My husband takes it to his doctor’s office to check his Omron after they take his BP, and it has always been within a few points of the doctor’s reading. It fits easily on the wrist, it is very light, easy to use and unobtrusive. Also, it is almost completely silent while working. A nice feature is that it tells you when your wrist is not in the right position for an accurate reading.

Excellent BP monitor
Easy to use. I don’t use the app. It stores 200 total readings for 2 users on a clear screen. Time, date, easy to set. It’s validated for accuracy and it’s extremely accurate. It was tested against 2 other accurate ones.Very cool feature lets you know your arm is in the right position : the heart lights up in blue- that’s when you are in the correct position. You have 5 seconds to get your arm positioned which is plenty of time. The cuff fits well, lets you know if it was too loose, or if you moved during taking the reading. LCD is easy to read. Look straight at it and there are no overlapping numbers. I’m dyslexic and have no issue with the LCD. Great compact carrying case. Directions are clear. Excellent value for it on sale! Detailed instructions in English and French pero no en español. Por qué no? Definitely recommend. It’s very quiet, you forget it’s on. UPDATED TO NOTE: it says to put it 1/2” from inner wrist crease. But not to cover the bone that protrudes on outer wrist. I would suggest going by the bone because 1/2 ” from inner crease covers that bone on me. Do the wrist test :)Muchas gracias, OMRON!

This cuff takes some getting used to but it does work
I’ve recently had heart issues so my doc recommends that I take my blood pressure frequently to stay on top of things. I like how small and portable this cuff is. I tend to take my blood pressure more often because I can keep this where I need it without it taking up too much room or looking out of place.I found the cuff hard to get used to, since in the past I’ve only used the upper arm style cuff. You need to read the directions and follow them closely to get accurate results. If I deviate from the instructions, I’ve found the cuff gives some wild readings. However it is very accurate used correctly and matches the readings I get at my docs office.I like the companion app that it works with… it makes it easy to track my readings so I can give an accurate report to my doctor at each appointment.

I purchased this unit because of the reviews and it’s advertised functionality of accuracy and irregular heartbeat detection, however it isn’t working properly at all. I received it 24 hours ago and I just spoke with their customer support about this unit. The problem has been that it will not take a reading no matter what I do. It inflates,the blue heart comes on to ensure the cuff is on properly and I am sitting still as it suggested. The only thing I’m doing is breathing normally and the screen says E4 after it has fully deflated and there’s no reading of either pulse or blood pressure. I’ve never in all my years required anyone to hold their breath to take a blood pressure. And it seems that the only way for this monitor to function is if you are sitting on a hard chair with your arm on a hard surface and don’t breathe. Wrong, as I tried that as well and got the same result. So he suggested that I return it promptly for a different unit but if this product only can be used in one exact position, I can’t use it because if I’m dizzy and need to recline and check my blood pressure, then I’m S.O.L. so perhaps I may ask to exchange it and give it one more chance, because he told me that I just may have received a dysfunctional unit, but for the price I could get 2 other different products. I will update later. Editing review: I’m still keeping it at 1 star because the replacement unit arrived yesterday and it worked as it should, but today I tried to use it and again it has the same E4 code. I don’t need something this expensive and unreliable. Blood pressures need to be taken in other positions than sitting up on a chair at a table so I’m returning this unit ASAP for a refund and purchase one somewhere else that will actually work.

Don’t Buy the Cheapies! Get One that Works!
I bought a cheaper wrist monitor that did not work, so I returned it. This on is night and day. It’s not backlit, but my phone is, so it’s easy to see the readings…on my phone. It does have a backlit “heart” symbol that shows you that your arm is in the right position, so that was really handy. The readings were accurate, checking it against my Omron arm cuff. There are reminders you can set that I found helpful; I need to take a second reading in the afternoon to see if I need another dose of medication. Very quiet. Comes with a nice storage case. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this BP monitor about a year ago and wanted to see how it performs before I write a review. Now that I’ve had it for a while, I can report that it has exceeded my expectations, considering that had bought cheaper ones in the past.My doctor was willing to indulge me and compare this one with his office BP monitor and I was very happy with the results which were comparably accurate. I noticed that some people reported that it was inaccurate which baffles me and it is possible that it may not be making proper contact with the wrist.The wrist band should always be placed snug just above the protruding wrist bone (pisiform bone). Inaccurate and erratic BP readings occur often when the wrist band is in the wrong position.This device is easy to use and, since I take my readings twice a day, I find myself replacing batteries about every 4-5 months. Not bad at all. I even contacted the company to assist in registering the warranty and they were very helpful.This was definitely worth paying a bit more for.

Very convenient and that helps one to test regularly (Important)Readings consistently lower than arm readings (Omron equipments)This is a known fact that wrist readings are less accurate than upper arm cuff readings, hence comparisons carried out intermittently with arm BP meters and/or doctor’s unit during visits is very important for those with BP problems for *reality-checks*That said, my unit gave consistently lower (5-10) mm Hg compared to my Omron arm meter. That said, it is so much easier to use and self-monitor frequently which is a HUGE PLUS POINT in my judgment!!The free app is great to see trends and is helpful. AGAIN, the app that works with the arm BP machine is way more capable for record-keeping.I personally would use both meters (wrist and arm) and that is exactly the set-up I have!!

CONNECT OMRON does not list this BP monitor in the supported monitors in Australia. It does in the USA region. The HEM6232T appears to be identical and is listed in the app.
