Great monitor, easy to use at home, connects to you phone and the app, easy, portable, does the job well and seems to be relatively precise vs what they use in DR> office. I recommend

Accurate, comfortable, easy to use
I like that this is a compact, all-in-one unit. It’s fairly easy to use and put on your arm. I have verified with my doctor that the BP reported is pretty accurate (good enough for home use). The app isn’t amazing, but straightforward, and it links with other health services (like Samsung Fit, which I use). Connects without any issues. Battery life is good, and I can generally get weeks of use out of the unit before they need to be changed (depends on how much you use it, of course). All in all, a good device for keeping track of your BP.

Great BP Monitor for Perople on the Go
A friend needed a BP device that is easy to use, space-saving for travel, and had options for simple recording of daily results for logging BP trends. But, it also had to be accurate and consistent by medical industry standards. I researched options through Consumer Reports and medical sites on line, and found that the OMRON Evolv met those needs. It is battery powered, and the cuff has no lines that go to a reader. Instead, the cuff itself contains all the electronics and has a read-out screen easily viewed on the inflated cuff itself. The cuff attaches directly to one’s upper arm and is held firmly by a velcro closure. The blood pressure and heart rate can be saved for computer access later or, as my friend prefers, simply hand-copied into a small notebook for reference and easy day-to-day comparison of results, with the advantage of having room to make notes about day-to-day activities that might explain any large variances affecting one’s BP. My friend reports this is a game changer for her to easily comply with reporting her daily records over time to her doctor. In short, the OMRON Evolv made taking her blood pressure easy, whereas her other older OMRON model was too big and bulky to take on the fly for all the traveling she does. In summary, the Evolv may be ideal for busy users who need a compact system that can help them comply with doctor’s orders for daily records.

Great all in one unit!
I have been very happy with this BP reader so far. I LOVE how it’s an all in one piece; no more hoses going from the cuff to the unit or trying to figure out if I have everything in the right place. This cuff makes it a lot easier to deal with. Just put it on right above your elbow and hit the button. Nothing else to fiddle with. I also really like how it takes your reading as the cuff is inflating so by the time it hits the maximum inflation/tightness, it releases immediately. No more sore arm/bicep from it being squeezed so much.The reason I bought this was because of the all in one factor, and because it would sync with my phone and with Apple Health. And it does both well. You do have to set up the manufactures app, so it won’t just sync directly to Apple Health, but I don’t think anything can do that. Once you have it setup, anytime it syncs with the app, it will sync with Apple Health. The only bummer I’ve noticed is it doesn’t always just automatically sync with your phone. If you don’t have your phone and the app open, it won’t sync automatically. I wished I could just leave my phone in my bedroom or wherever and take my reading and have it sync, but I don’t think it works like that. It did seem to one time do this, but not sure how or why it worked like this once (my phone was locked in the other room, but once I took my measurement, I got a notification that there was a new reading. Hasn’t done that since, so idk). The good thing is it’s not hard to sync it. As soon as you open the app, it initiates a sync and pulls your info in, so it’s not hard or too cumbersome to get it to sync, I just wish it was automatic. It’s also good that the cuff stores up to 100 (I think) readings so even if you don’t sync it after each reading, you don’t have to worry about it losing the previous one if you take another one.Overall, I’m quite happy with the size, the way it works and the ability to have it write to Apple Health. Only downside I have with it is I wish it synced automatically each time. I still wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this is you’re looking for a smart BP monitor.

Very good and accurate had a few issues setting it up with the iPhone but once that was resolved it is excellent

Best BP machine in the market. Most importantly it is very accurate and the readings matches the doctors bp apparatus. Yes it is expensive, but most of the cheaper models are not accurate. The Bluetooth connection is flawless and the readings sync with your phone (have tried only on Apple iPhone) and the health app on iPhone. The app is basic but that’s what’s needed – a place where all readings can be stored. The cuff is moulded and is very easy to put on by self if others are not around. The app also notifies for any arrhythmias (like afib, pvcs etc). Very easy to carry around while travelling. The photo shows the machine in white colour but received a full black one (thanks for that). A must have instrument for all hypertensive patients, or even others who want to keep a check on their BP.
