Works well and with ease
Purchased this for my husband as he has to check his BP everyday now due to his medical history. We have a very old one (same brand) still works just this one is easier to use and blood pressure is accurate. It’s easy to carry with you and the digital display is nice size. Works quick as it pumps up and stops on its own. The old one we needed a stethoscope to know when to stop. I purchased this specific brand b/c our old one is over 40years old and still works. Definitely a great brand.

The best cheap BP monitor.
I bought this as a backup to the Omron Platinum I own. This one typically stays in the car so I use the Platinum in the morning and evening and I use the Bronze when I’m out and about and I feel off.It’s very simple. It holds 10 measurements and it syncs to the Omron app via Bluetooth and that is a real gamechanger. It uses the same D-ring cuff as the Platinum, takes 3 AA batteries or an optional power cable (the Platinum uses the same wall pack and for $90 Omron actually shops the Platinum with a wall pack!), and it does exactly what you need it to do, plus Bluetooth. Bluetooth setup was simple. Just follow the enclosed instructions. There is no back light and no guest mode. It just works.Now, the Platinum is fantastic and blows the Bronze out of the water, but about half of that is the app which both can use. The app keeps track of all my BP readings. I can add a manual reading if I get one from a nurse. It averages out my readings (which is the real measure of how you’re doing) and the app easily exports your readings to a straightforward PDF or an Excel file. And you can share that with your doctor.If you have difficult to manage hypertension, you need the Omron system. There may be nicer monitors in this price range but I don’t think any of them can compete with the Omron app. If you can’t afford $90, hopefully you can afford $20 and get this one.

Nice Unit
Not a bad little unit. It works and takes my BP. I won’t know how accurate it is until I confirm it at my doctor’s office. My only grip is that sometimes when I go to measure my BP and remove it from the bag, I notice that it is on. I don’t know how long its been on since the auto shut off is supposed to turn it off if it remains idle, but still its burning up batteries for no reason. Other than that it’s easy to use and read. Nice that it keeps a history as well as syncing with my phone.

We have a larger one just like this, but it has an option to record for two person’s blood pressure. We’ve had it for several years, and works great! Our family doctor recommended this brand. We bought a smaller one for our son. Would be a nice size for travel. Well worth the money.

Simple and Effective Monitor
This review is after Day 1. Replaced an older Omron I must have had for 20 years that finally died. This model is very nice. Very simple in its design, layout, and usage. The cuff is much more improved and easier to use. The machine came with 4 AA batteries but no (optional) AC adapter. Luckily, I held onto my old Omron AC adapter and it fits. And while not mandatory, I did download the Omron App to my Android which automatically syncs to the Omron monitor; it’s a nice way to capture/record your data. Additionally, I was then able to synch the Omron App to my Samsung Health App which I use to track my steps. It all sounds complicated but it was not…and again,all optional. So, on Day 1 very happy with my purchase.

OMRON has been around for many years and that had a lot to do with my selecting it. Easy to use, seems very accurate with compared with my doctor’s monitor. And the price was attractive.

This blood pressure machine from a trusted brand is excellent in every way. It’s extremely easy to use, the numbers are large and easy to read, and all of the components feel high‑quality. I also appreciate being able to track my readings through the companion app. The app does work, but the layout could be clearer and it can feel a bit confusing at times. Overall, the device itself is outstanding, with just a small learning curve on the software side.

The monitor works but there is a “known issue” with the OMRON app that makes it unusable. I had purchased one of their more expensive models so I could use a Bluetooth app to collect information and view Blood Pressure stats over an extended period. I’m waiting for Customer Support to resolve the issue, but if I can’t use the OMRON app (as advertised) then I’ll return their product and buy a different monitor. [2 star review]UPDATE: I called Customer Support and was told the issue was my Google Pixel 8 phone… currently it cannot be used to create a new OMRON app account. The workaround was to create an account on another Android device, such as a Tablet. Thereafter, I was able to log in and use the OMRON app on my Google Pixel phone. [updated to 4 star review]
