Good quality and great price for a pair of multi-use art paper. This will be for anything from sketching, chalk and charcoal to water colors. The paper thickness isn’t full water color or oil thickness, but will do well for water colors not to bleed through when one is looking for a pad that will do various medias. The texture has just the right amount of roughness for art mediums to grab to the page. These are a gift along with other art implements and I have no hesitation that it will do the job.

My son, the artist, has become quite picky with what he will draw on anymore these days. But I admire the heck out of him for knowing what it is that he likes and doesn’t like. And he knows what he likes, and that is this kind of paper. He has all sorts of pens and markers, and he asks me for a thicker paper than can hold onto the sharpie ink without it bleeding through onto the next page. This is great, thick, durable paper for all sorts of medium, and will withstand a lot that you put onto it. And at this price point, you cannot beat it.

Great Gift for Pastel Artists – Smooth Texture and Quality Paper
I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend who recently started drawing with pastels. It was a gift. The person said it’s good for watercolor or any kind of paint, that it worked well, was easy to use and blend, the paper was good and haven’t had any bleed, so I think the durability is gonna be fine, as it’s also big, has many pages to use for a person that is just starting paint would be great.
