A+ A Strong, Light and Useful Camping Mess Kit
I am a retired US Army NCO who is more than 70 years old, lives in New Mexico and loves to hike and camp. At my age, I’m always on the lookout for good lightweight kit. I do not submit reviews until I’ve used the item. My experience with this little kit was very good. The kit comes with a little fry pan and a little sauce pan that nest into each other. There is a terrific little carved bamboo stir spoon a couple of plastic little bowls or cups a little folding ladle, a sauce pan cover and I got a Prime Day Special extra addition; a nifty little metal folding spork. In addition to all of this, it has a nice little cloth sack with a nicely made plastic closure to hold the little kit nice and snug together when it is stuffed in my ruck sack.I washed it all up, stuffed in an extra pair of socks and a couple of bandana handkerchiefs so it did not rattle (an old army habit).I usually bring a little grub for the trip; a couple of hard boiled eggs, some hard tack, some precooked brown rice with peas and carrots and corn kernels and an apple or two; along with some dark roasted coffee beans. I set up camp after a few hours out. my tiny camp stove heated up and this terrific little kit did everything it was supposed to do. The coffee beans heated up great and the coffee was great. This little kit did exactly what it was supposed to do, it is light and strong, well made and I expect that it will provide me with hot meals out on the backside of the high dessert for years to come. I bought this thing sight unseen and hoped for the best: I got the best.If you come to the New Mexico high dessert, you will see the stars as GOD intended you to see them. Boil up some coffee and when you see the Milky Way, you will feel as if you could reach up and touch the face of GOD.Come and camp in New Mexico for your next vacation; and bring along this little MalloMe Mess Kit. You will never regret the journey or the purchase of this little kit.Signed,Frank

A must have
Great product, Great price and fast shipping. It was nice having hot soup while sitting in the blind. My grandson and I made good use of it this year. Looking forward to using it more.

Good mess kit
Added this to my Glamping cooking gear. Nice compact nonstick set. I can see why backpackers like it so much. Lightweight. Well made and seems durable. I use a Kelly Kettle to boil water fast. This will compliment it’s Hobo stove.

Lightweight and Useful
I got this wanting a compact and light weight mess kit for biketouring. There is a nice assortment of items but nothing extravagant, but then, that’s not the point. It has all of the space for cooking you need as a solo backpacker or bike tourer. I can’t speak to the long-term durability yet since I’ve only used it for some test cooks. Once I have been able to really put it to the test with an extended bike tour I will update my review. As of right now, I’m really happy with this, especially for the price

Great value for money; high quality and great portability.
Great quality and usability. All components are made from high quality materials, and they feel sturdy when used. I guess, like with any other cooking equipment, good care is needed to ensure longevity. The pot and pan conduct heat really quick, so make sure you have all your cooking ingredients prepped and near by if you don’t want things to burn or spill over. I was glad to see that whatever did stick to the bottom easily came off using the included wooden ladle and/or cold water.I love the size and light weight and the bag they come in. The kit can easily find a confortable spot in any backpack, and is well self contained so you won’t have utensils allover the place.Perhaps the only downside is the size/volume of the pan. The pot volume sufficed for a decent [delicious] banana-peanut-butter and soya milk porridge breakfast for 2, and for cooking 2 big instant ramen packs. The pot might have enough volume for a decent pasta serving for 2 (but I haven’t yet tried it). The pan is more on the size of single servings. If you have a big appetite, two stoves (or 2 burners on one) and cook for 2+ you may want to get two of these kits. Perhaps it’s safe to say that this is for personal use, or will require multiple batches for more people.Overall I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for quality and portability at a very decent price. It certainly kept our tummies and backs happy on our last camping trip.

Backpack pots and pans
These pans are very small they’re to put in a knapsack. They’re very well made should be easy to use and easy to clean but I bought them for the size and they’re exactly what I wanted they’re nice and light. I would buy them again

Works great! Remember to extend the arms first!
Used it on my hunting trip last week. Worked great! Just remember to extend the arms from the pot before firing up your stove/burner. I forgot and burned some of the green handle plastic. Not the mfg. fault. Just a reminder to all future users out there.
