Wonderful for a kid, be careful of velcro
Love this thing. We honestly rarely convert it to a pillow because our son loves the penguin look. It is his comfort item for all of our air travel. Easily clips onto backpacks. Very light. The only downside is that you have to be careful around Velcro because it will eat up the material this is made of. Stuff it in a plastic bag if it will travel inside a bag near any Velcro, though, and that concern is alleviated.

Comfy as a pillow and cute as a stuffed animal. No reason not to buy it…
Wife loved it. Comfortable pillow/novelty teddy bear. Hangs off her handbag with a clip so it was convenient to take on our trip from NY to Australia by way of Singapore. Pillow is easy to transform from bear to pillow and back again. When in pillow form, you wouldn’t even know it was a stuffed bear… works like a true neck pillow.Very soft material too… we’ll see how it holds up, but no complaints so far. She thought it was cute and fun and made her smile when she had to say goodbye to her family to head back on the long flight home.No reason not to buy it… neck pillows that don’t transform with the same comfort cost as much or more.

Favorite gift for 15 year old daughter
My daughter was taking a plane trip by herself for the first time this summer so we surprised her with this before she left. She was very pleased with it and so were we. We thought it would be a cute travel gift to ease any nervousness she may have about flying alone, but we were honestly surprised at how comfortable and well-made it was. After flipping back and forth several times, the bear looked exactly the same (we assumed it would be at least a little misshaped but it looked exactly as it did when we first took it out of the package) and the neck pillow was surprisingly comfortable and soft. I’m tempted to get one for myself for my next trip abroad, as my daughter is never letting go of hers.

Super Cute and Comfortable but…
Super cute and comfortable but wouldn’t recommend this for adults or for someone always in a rush while traveling. I do like the interchangeable design that keeps the pillow concealed and clean while traveling, but it requires a couple of minutes to convert this adorable penguin into a pillow. I think this item would be great for kids but not for adults because it doesn’t provide enough support in my opinion. You also need to be very careful when using this because mine was damaged by its own zip after a few uses. The pillow cover split open and the microbeads spilled. It was damaged few years ago but I still keep it as a small cushion instead of converting it into a neck pillow because it’s so cute and I like it so much that I can’t just throw it away.

Very cute and convenient!
To be honest, I initially bought this product mostly because of its “cuteness” factor. However, I was really surprised by how well it works! It’s easy to convert the pillow into both a neck pillow and its cuddly bear form (although completely emptying the beads can take some time and patience). Obviously, the neck pillow probably isn’t going to provide the best support if you’re looking for a Tempurpedic-esque support level — but it’s still a good, big neck pillow as well as a comforting cuddly toy!My only complaints are that the conversion process can sometimes be a bit tricky with regards to emptying the beads — and that the material is somewhat cheap and could easily be torn/snagged if not treated carefully. All in all, I was surprised by how effective this pillow was and am very glad I have it!

Cute, but not the most practical or easiest to use neck pillow.
I love penguins, so when I saw this, I had to have it! It’s made of some type of bead material and comes as the penguin with a hook on the top and a small zipper in the back. To turn this to a neck pillow, you unzip the back zipper and pull out the fabric inside (basically inside-out it) and shake the beads around until it becomes a neck pillow. It’s a decent neck pillow, but squishes a bit too much to really support my neck in the plane. It takes some time to put it back, having to inside-out it again and shake all the beads back into the penguin shape (not easy!). I did find that when I hooked it to my backpack, just the walking around would swing the penguin around enough to pull the zipper on my bag open. I also found that it was a lot easier to just use this as a penguin shaped pillow instead of a neck pillow.

Fun and comfortable
Love this travel pillow. It’s filled with beads, just like a standard travel pillow. You won’t find bulky memory foam here, but it’s very comfortable. It takes seconds to change form between the bear and the pillow, and I love that you can simply clip the bear on your bag while traveling. Since the bear is the outside, you don’t have to worry too much about it getting dirty before flipping it inside out to use it as neck pillow. There are other more portable pillows out there, some more comfortable, but this is comfortable enough, and it’s a unique and fun way to carry it around!

It’s quite comfy and suitable for travels, tbh it’s not the most comfortable travel pillows but it’s acceptable for a non-frequent traveller. The penguin though, its cuteness gets loads of passerbys adoring, and it can turn into a travel pillow with little effort.
