Mine works great … my Christmas present to myself so happy with this one . Homedics is a very good brand design elegant the only thing Black Friday left off this one is not the surround light… it just shuts down and you can’t tell when it’s working from a distance .This unit is super quiet and waterless … that’s a plus in my opinion ease of use is great plug set and forget it scent smells great all over. I hope it last for a long time and it’s pleasant in any room. Seems durable I only started using can’t say how long it will last ? Scents included are okay I prefer Aspen Fir with sandalwood,Cedarwood smells.

Wonderful diffuser, just a bit pricey!
We are big “oil diffusers” around here, my wife is always brewing some concoction of a mix of oils to scent our home. So we were excited to try this “waterless” diffuser from Homedics, which is a name brand we know and believe we can trust for quality. It’s an expensive unit, at least twice the cost of our most expensive water-using unit. And the replacement oils are not cheap, some running as high as 60 bucks for a small bottle. This set comes with two, and it’s difficult to know how long it’s going to last, as you can’t see anything or how it’s progressing without taking it out. Which is not as difficult as I’m probably making it, because you can switch out different scents while still using one.We are still trying to determine if the cost of using this unit long-term is favorable over water-based oil diffusers, considering distilled water is not all that expensive. But the convenience alone of not having to refill water all the time is worth something in and of itself, as is the lack of mess when water is involved.The diffuser worked great right out of the box, it has a very stylish and sleek look that blends in virtually anywhere. It puts out a few seconds of scent every few minutes, so it keeps the area smelling nice but not overwhelming. It has a timer function so you can have it go off after a designated time, and everything is very intuitive and accessible right on the base panel. The only “issue” we had was that, upon reading the manual, it said that if the light (which tells you the level and timer) is not on during operation there could be some troubleshooting required, but we noticed that the light goes off, and does not stay on during operation, causing a bit of confusion but no hindrance to use or experience.It’s difficult to gauge whether, in general, waterless diffusers are more efficient or affordable in the long run. If you are in the market for a fantastic waterless diffuser that looks great and works like a charm, but money is no object, this unit is right up your alley. If, however, you are more budget-minded, it remains to be seen if this is more or less costly in the long run, but the cost up front is definitely a consideration.

Solid diffuser with oils!!!
We have the smaller Homedics diffuser with the 15 mil oils and love it, so we decided to get the larger version and we’re excited to see a version with two oils. Since it’s the holidays, we have only tried the Aspen Fir oil, but it has really made our home smell like Christmas. The Diffuser is really solid, I love the metal, and it works as described. Highly recommend it!!!

Nice looking, works well, a little noisy
This diffuser does a nice job of bringing scent into your hone and looking good while doing it. It has a modern and sturdy look, which will fit in with lots of decor. There are a good many options involving scent levels and the amount of time it will remain active for. The touchscreen display is also very easy to use. My only complaint with it is that it can be a bit loud at times.

I’m obsessed with my waterless diffuser from Homedics. So I’m buying one as a Christmas gift for my sister!The scents are not overbearing but amazingly effective. I love how they make my home smell. I can just set it and forget it!

Sleek and Stylish, but Needs Daily Power-On and Is a Bit Overpriced
The design of this Homedics SereneScent Waterless Diffuser is definitely sleek and modern. It looks great in any room and is very easy to set up and use. The patented diffusion technology works well, and it has a few useful modes for adjusting how strong you want the scent to be.However, for the price, I expected a little more convenience. The biggest downside is that it turns off daily, so you have to manually turn it back on every day. That becomes a bit annoying over time. Also, I personally didn’t like the fragrances that came in the set — they weren’t my style, though others might enjoy them.If the higher price and the need to turn it on daily don’t bother you, it’s a nice diffuser for large rooms. But for me, those factors bring it down to a 4-star product despite its stylish look and ease of use.

Money saver for someone who likes a nice smelling house!!!
The absolute best waterless diffuser! I have purchased multiple of these for my house and office. They are sleek and I love the design. All of the scents are amazing. They do last a long time as well. I keep mine on for a good portion of the day and the bottles last for months!!! It really is a good value if you are someone who likes “smell goods” in the house and want to save on candle purchases.
