I do not think the temp. reaches 1200 degrees since it barely reaches hot enough to melt aluminum solder. That’s ok.

After reading through the manual. i plugged the device into the wall & switch it to 1. It made a horrible sound & no heat or orange light was seen at the top. Changed power outlet & it done the same thing. Obviously something not right so not messing 2ith it until it catches fire. Very unhappy about this.
