This Caliper is made very nice at a very affordable price. It seems to be of good quality, it operates nicely and so far its been very accurate in measurements. For the money you can’t beat it.

Excellent Quality and Value!
Excellent! Fills my needs perfectly – measuring the dimensions (in millimeters and inches) of random things around my house that I never knew could use measuring. . .and it saves me time when shopping – nuts and bolts (no more lingering in aisles of hardware stores), eyeglasses, eyeglass cases, watch faces, my kids’ feet (no more guessing their foot size when buying them shoes), golf grips, cellphones, etc. Measurements are very easy to read. The screen slides easily along the scale. Case is very sturdy. Price was very reasonable for the quality – I wanted a quality digital caliper at a fair price and that’s exactly what I got. Solid Choice- great value
I have only had these calipers for a short time, but I am happy with the quality of them so far. They have a nice weight to them, they are easy to use, and seem very accurate. I bought them to help with my design work and they have met my expectations nicely.

Good caliper but hard to read LCD at a small angle
This is a nice caliper, long and affordable – It seems to be accurate and has done well for me in the nine months I have had it – There are a lot of good things to say about it but the one thing that I thought people would want to know is that the LCD does not have good visibility / readability at much of an angle – Probably at 20+ degrees – This can create a problem when the location of the item to be measured is not convenient from your vantage point – And other times not a problem at all with more direct viewing – My Mitutoyo is more readable at greater angles – I thought this might be an issue for some applications – Otherwise it has served me well – I would recommend it for some applications but for most of my needs I’d rather spend the extra money and get a Mitutoyo

Very satisfied with this Hardell caliper
I am highly impressed with quality of this item. I have had an inexpensive caliper for about 6 years but it only measured to 1/100 of inch and needed something to measure to 1000th of inch. When I opened the package for this Hardell caliper, I was surprised by the weight and sturdiness of it and immediately realized the cheapness of what I have been using. Have not used it very much yet but when I have it is extremely easy to use and I very much like the thumb roller and locking mechanism, something my cheaper caliper did not have. But I must mention that the ruler included with this product is quite impressive, with etched markings and measurements of .5 mm and 1/64 of inch. Also, the measurements start with the edge of the ruler which I needed for work I am doing. The caliper is very nice in itself, but the ruler really is a bonus surprise.

Solid caliper for detailed woodworking projects.
Received the caliper on time, nice packaging. Simple battery install, two small button batteries were included with the caliper, only one needed to operate. I use the caliper for some pretty detailed 3d end-grain cutting boards. Tolerances are tighter than normal woodworking projects. The caliper provides the needed precision for these projects. So far so good. Just finished a very detailed board and the caliper performed very well. Nice bonus was a nice stainless rule was included with the order. P

Very nice tool. Case is nice with foam bottom for tool to lay on. Came with 2 batteries and the machinist ruler was a nice add on. The display is crisp and easy to see at all angles. The black is a nice touch to match my other black themed tools. But my favorite feature of this is the screw holding down the battery door. I have owned many of these and have always thrown them away after losing the battery door.

Very impressed with quality
I’m very impressed with these calipers. For the price, the quality and accuracy are impressive. I use calipers all day at work, and my company provides Mitutoyo digital calipers, which are top of the line, and cost about $150. While these may not be quite as accurate, they come close. Unless you need extreme precision, these will do you just fine. They’re nicely weighted and have a very durable feel. The cradle slides easily and they’re comfortable to use. They look great, and function perfectly. Would definitely buy again.

Good its solid because its made out of metal and the measurements are accurate. The caliper flows easily and the ruler was a really nice add to measure things. However the box did come damage upon arrival as it had chipped at the bottom.
