Love this thing
I live in a small place and even though I have a real sewing machine, it’s a pain to drudge it up for a quick hem job. I wish I had space to leave it out. It is a hand held device, so I tempered my expectations for what it is.Pros1) It is so easy to use and for things where perfection doesn’t matter, like my PJ pants, it really serves its purpose.2) It is very compact.Cons1) It is hard to control and move in a straight line. It’s really a two-person job. If you hold one end of the hem while another person holds the other end with some tension, it is much easier to maneuver.2) It can’t manage bumps, like seams of pants. I basically did the flat parts with the machine. Then I hand sewed the seam on either side. It still cut down the time required the hand sew the whole thing, so I was still very pleased.

Great for light projects and quick fixes
Neat little item. It’s very well made, and the extras were a bonus. Good for light garments, and quick fixes. Only complaint is it’s advertised to work on fabrics like denim, which you’re going to have a much tougher time with.

BUYER BEWARE… Rotator knob turns but does not engage needle ON 2 SEPARATE MACHINES!
Amended 11/19/25 I received the replacement with the same exact issue… the rotating wheel just spins!! It will not engage with the needle… I’m not sure what is going on, but this box was opened when I received it… did they just plop another returned machine into a new envelope and send out?? I give this manufacturer a big zero.!!11/15/25 I had such high hopes about this little machine with the great reviews but my rotating wheel just spins… it will not raise or lower the needle. I have tried several things but nothing is making it engage with the needle position. Anyone else have this on theirs? A replacement is being sent.
