Works great
I’ve been getting into FDM printing for a bit now and quickly got hooked (obsessed?, ha!). But I wanted more detail in my prints and found that resin printing was the next step. And let me tell you, the detail you get with resin is something else – the prints look just like what you’d find in a store. For resin printing, you need a few key things: a good printer, a cure station, and a wash station. I had a great experience with Geeetech’s gear for FDM, so I decided to use their cure station for my resin setup.I picked up the Geeetech UV Resin Curing Box, and it’s been a solid choice. It’s simple, with just one set of lights, but it gets the job done well. It might not be the most powerful light out there, but it’s a good deal for its price. The prints come out well and are stable, and the build quality is really good – I’m pretty happy with it.The box has these cool UV LED lamps that cure the prints nicely. The rotating tray inside that turns the prints for curing is a game-changer (vs holding a light or using sunlight!). The built-in timer and the auto-shutoff safety feature when you open the box are super convenient. It’s roomy enough for more oversized prints, too. Even though some might say the light isn’t the strongest, for my projects and the price point, it’s been more than adequate. All in all, the Geeetech UV Resin Curing Box is a great piece of equipment. It’s user-friendly, reliable, and does everything I need it to do, hassle-free.

A noticeable upgrade from traditional curing solutions
I’ve been in the 3d printing space for around 3 years now and have in the last year gotten into SLA printing. Coming from FDM I really had no idea how much effort goes into the chemistry and fine detail work of SLA printing. When I bought my original setup, I pretty much picked out the cheapest thing on amazon; How much of a difference could a curing box make?A big difference. While your standard reflective box with a light attached to it will do the job, this guy will do it better, more reliably, and (most importantly to me) more uniformly. The rotating platform seriously makes a noticeable difference in how the final finish of a part comes out of the curing box, and unlike with a reflective box, you won’t have parts that are partially cured – the entire thing gets evenly cured, including the bottom and under any overhangs. The timer is incredibly useful as I often find myself getting involved in something else and leaving prints in my curing box (bad habit that’s probably leftover from FDM printing :P) and rendering them either with a bad finish or just being useless for their intended use.Besides all of this, I’m shocked at how much of an improvement in the user experience and actual functionality this has for the price over the typical reflective box solution. I spent somewhere close to $40 on the one I had before, which, while also being considerably smaller, was literally just a shiny box and a light. This thing feels nice, is easy to put together, and actually looks nice in your workspace.TL;DR: If you’re debating between this and just a “standard” curing box, trust me – this is a BIG improvement.

It’s still working no major problems
It’s good for the money. When I assembled it I had to re drill the holes for the hinges. The way it was it would either not open all the way or not close all the way.

3 prints and the sensor bricks
If i could give less than a star I would. I have cured 3 prints with this and the sensor went out. I have an order for a client to send out and now its going to be late because I have to get a new sensor but ill just go ahead and get a whole new cure box. Will never buy a single product from this company and I suggest you dont either.

Great value in a uv curing box
I needed something to seal prints and reduce layer lines using uv resin but just wanted something quick an easy to use. I saw this but was concerned about build quality and effectiveness of the uv emitters. Instructions were clear and it assembled pretty easy. I guess I didn’t read real well and didn’t realize it has a built in motorized turntable. The uv emitters are very intense. More so than I was expecting. The timer was easy to use and curing was pretty rapid. I’m more than satisfied at the cost/effectiveness of this uv box. Also something that I didn’t think about is how great it is at charging glow in the dark prints I’ve made. This stuff has never glowed like this before.

Worked then became useless
Worked really good for about two months.. now it doesn’t cure the resin glue at all.. even if you set a longer timer.

Great for larger resin printers
I bought this curing box a while back to cure prints that come off of an Elegoo Jupiter. The Elegoo Jupiter has not arrived yet so I hadn’t used the curing box. However, I decided to use the curing box to cure a bunch of smaller prints from a couple creality 2k printers. It worked great for having multiple small prints done in it. I cannot wait to use it when my Jupiter arrives next month.Assembly was easy but required a little bit of time. Some of the film is hard to peel off the acrylic but that isn’t a bad thing as that film keeps it protected from scratches. Build waulity is great. Prints stayed very stable in the printer with me even moving it around while it was on and spinning the prints. I opened the machine and everything was still where it was on the turn table when I put it in there.I cannot wait to continue to use this with larger prints. Now I just need to find a good solution for cleaning larger prints!
