What should I do if the model won’t stick to the platform when printing?

Check if the nozzle is too close to the hotbed. Adjust the Z-offset value slightly will help.

How do I unclog the nozzle if I can’t print filament?

First, heat the nozzle temperature to between 230 and 250, and pull out the filament when the temperature reaches the set value, and use our matching needle to clean the nozzle deeply to repeatedly dredge it.

What operating systems are supported by the printers?

The Geeetech M1mini 3d printer is completely open source and supports windows, MAC and Linux operating systems, different slicing software such as OrcaSlicer/Cura /Simplify3d/Slicr3r

How to Auto-Level?

In the menu interface, click Prepare first, then click Auto Leveling. For more information about M1 3d printer, please visit geeetech-wiki.

    Great printer for the price
I was looking for another printer to offload some smaller prints and free up my main printer for the larger prints. So i came across this and thought I’d give it a try. For the price, i wasn’t expecting much, but i was pleasantly surprised. My first printer was about the same price, but needed a bunch of upgrades before i was happy with the quality. This printer was slightly cheaper and prints better straight out of the box than my first painter did after all the upgrades. The printer was packaged well, required almost no assembly other than connecting the bowden tubes, and was printing within 15 minutes of opening the box. The printer came with a sample filament, which was enough to print 1 to 2 of the files on the included Micro SD card. So i started with the mini dragon, and it came out nearly flawless. I would suggest printing the included spool holder as the included spool holder will not support a standard 1kg spool. After the sample filament was gone, i hooked up a roll of geeetech matte PLA and tested some of the other included files. Both came out looking really good. The small size makes it really portable, it only requires 1 cable for power, and there’s a slit on the top that can double as a handle. The color screen and control knob make it really easy to operate. This would make a great printer for any beginners looking to get into 3D printing, or a great birthday/christmas gift for a kid.

Surprisingly impressive for a kids printer
After shopping for a kid’s printer I settled on trying this one having been familiar with Geeetech awesome filaments. Some moms at a local social group heard me talking about it and said I should bring it over that night and demo it to the kids. I was a bit hesitant as I just received it and hadn’t even tested it. So, I found a parametric name plate generator as something quick and easy to print for the kids. I brought some silk pla with so they could pick out their colors. Hitting the start button was a bit nerve racking because I didn’t know how well it would print. Well it impressed me with the quality that came off this little machine and everyone was commenting about how fast it was printing. I did have a slight bit of stringing but this wasn’t even a calibrated filament, just a generic profile in Orca slicer. I found this printer is also already in Bambu Studio as well if you already have that installed.I printed out an egg that rotates to store candy inside. Was a bit nervous about that one too since I had to scale the model down to fit this print bed. My concern was the tolerances between the layers and if it would have enough room to actually spin. We’ll, it worked perfectly. We’ve printed quite a few more models using various pla filaments. I did use glue on the bed just so I didn’t have anything let loose. Not 100% sure if it was needed but didn’t want to take a chance at disappointing any of the little ones.I really like that the enclosure keeps wandering child hands away from the print bed. That was a safety concern I had about using my A1 mini for a demo. I also loved how bright the light is in it. The kids were so mesmerized by watching something print right in front of them and no one had an issue seeing it. There’s a single knob on the top to access menu functions. It takes a minute to figure out where everything is but it is well organized.Well this one’s a keeper and if you’re in the market for a kids printer I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this one.

Good first printer to learn on
I bought this printer for my 8 year old daughter who has been wanting to do her own 3D printing. My printers are very expensive and complicated and I thought this one would be a perfect first step so to speak. I was expecting it to be a bit more kid oriented as far as a simplified slicer for kids, but it runs off the same Orca or Cura slicers my printers run off. It is compact and relatively simple. The fact that it doesn’t take up a of space is ideal for what I purchased it for. Our first print we printed something rather difficult instead of the overly simple typical first prints and it did an amazing job. It came well packaged, and imwas very easy to set up and use. The only challenge or difficulty is the fact that it requires the full blown slicer and not a kid friendly app or version of a slicer. It’s also a machine I would feel safe letting her learn to maintain and “repair” because of its simple design.I will say it prints really well and much faster than I was expecting.I would recommend this as a great starter or machine to learn on.
