Superior crochet hook set
One of the best crochet hook sets I’ve ever used. I’ve been a fan of the Tulip red étimo for many years. Ths, along with their tulip pink hooks are my favorite, with the Clovers coming in a close second. It comes with a perfect little roll up case for travel. I bought an set to have on hand. This would make a really nice gift for a crocheter.

My New Favorite Hooks
I’ve been an avid collector of a certain luxury crochet hook brand for close to 10 years for their ergonomic shape and quality. Over the years, I couldn’t justify the cost anymore. These hooks are a great alternative and I have zero wrist pain when using them. The metal is smooth, so there is no drag. They’re lightweight, so I don’t get hand fatigue. The size is printed on a matte part of the handle, so I don’t know if it will wear off over time or not; I’ve been using the 5mm and 4.5mm often for the past several months without that issue. I have rather large hands, so these are a tad short, but it’s nothing that can’t be adjusted to, which I’ve done. I did have to purchase the 4.5mm hook separately (I went with this same company), as it’s a size I do use often. I do use the included case, but I don’t love it. However, it doesn’t make a difference in my rating.

The hooks are for petite hands.
The working part of the hook is very short, and the rubber ergonomics of the hook is just ok; the shaft of the hook glides through the yarn with ease with no drag at all. I think that the hooks are made for very petite hands. I have rather petite hands myself, but the hooks seem to slight for my style of crocheting. I find the hooks well made, and very pretty. The case is nice and sturdy, but I prefer a zipper case much better. I gave this set of Tulip Reds 5 stars because they would be perfect for the right person; just not for me. I will keep the hook set because I collect hooks.

best crochet hooks out there
i no longer have wrist issues after using these! the matte touch makes my crocheting super easy as it feels like butter and i’m able to pick up speed. it doesn’t come with bigger sizes that’s really the only con. i had to buy 2 additional sizes which were 5.5mm and 6mm. best purchase ive ever made!

They’re comfortable to use. The case is very mid, though. To be fair, I did add hooks from the same line to the case, so they were all together. (I got a few of the ones in larger sizes that were available to the set. I think 4.5mm, 5.5mm, and 6mm? ) Anyway, they don’t fit gracefully with the others. I’ll probably use a different bag for the larger hooks and keep this one for the smaller… or vice versa. I did attach a small scissor to the inside thing for the scissor. 🙂 I like that the string keeps it from falling.

Great hooks, decent case, no scissors.
Clearly, this is an investment. I have no problem paying this price for these crochet hooks because they are the my favorites out of all my other crochet hooks. Be aware that the scissors do not come with the kit. It would be nice if the image of the product stated that the scissors do not come with the kit. Maybe Amazon could help by posting that somewhere on the advertisement in English. Hope that doesn’t come off snarky just a heads up.

Very nice Crochet Set and unlike our previous set, they have smaller hook like No.1 and No.2 which can be a nice combination depends on the purpose.However, a friendly reminder that there is no scissor attached and so do not completely rely on the picture on web for the product description:)

I had recently tried a tulip hook from a friend. And really liked its feel and ease of working with. I came across this set and just couldn’t go past the price. It arrived 3 days early. Love the set and the lil travel satchel/pouch is so cute. Definitely a brand I will purchase again. And definitely a shop I will purchase from again.
